Home team. Their 18, fck me, I'm closer to him now than we got all night. That was pathetic. Pathetic. In my bottom 10 of all time that one, down there with Mick Harford v Ipswich.

The Bob Mortimer Match Thread: QPR v Boro on 00:09 - Nov 6 by Ned_Kennedys | As I mentioned elsewhere I made the fecking fantastic decision to see The Cult at The Roundhouse tonight instead of QPR: EVERYONE in the management and upper management are responsible for where we are now but still there are Cifuentes sycophants who seem to absolve him of all blame. If he has no responsibility for the p1ss poor squad we have ended up with then perhaps he needs to think about why he extended his contract when he has so little say in how QPR are run as surely it will cost him his job and sully his reputation. What a sh1t show. [Post edited 6 Nov 0:47]

And yet you defend the people that put the team together, on here, repeatedly. You get rid of Cifuentes, fine. The problems are higher up. This is Warburton all over again, you've got a good guy, led by donkeys.

Fair play. I always stay, mostly out of grim fascination. Kudos to us managing to concede the fourth in injury time though, it was the coup de grace. Boro were hilariously still time-wasting at 3-1. I mean, come on guys, you really don't need to do that!

I don’t defend anybody. Owners/CEO/DOF/Management/Coaches/Players are doing an appalling job this season. Naive to resolve Cifuentes of any blame based on what we’ve seen this season, especially at home.

The Bob Mortimer Match Thread: QPR v Boro on 07:34 - Nov 6 with 1623 views | smudgehoop | Heartbreaking. I thought we had gone back to Marti basics the last few games. Tough to beat and players getting stuck in, whilst keeping a solid formation. Yet this is a complete relapse. Gutted for the fans who went.

The Bob Mortimer Match Thread: QPR v Boro on 15:07 - Nov 6 with 1197 views | Monkey_Roots | I'm not one for identifying patterns of play, shapes or a strategy, but I can see when something isn't working. I haven't yet this season looked at how we're setup, or how we play and thought 'I can see what he's trying to do here'... It's no well oiled machine, obviously - we're hopeless – but it all looks so reactive, like 'I've got the ball, who's free?', as opposed to 'yep, I now know my next move is to go wide, or through the middle'... Last night, we mostly passed it along the back a few times, and then went long, completely bypassing the midfield. Can anyone who is more savvy than I please explain what they think Marti is trying to do?

Ok , I haven’t done my badges yet but I will give it a go , Gk passes out to nearest unmarked defender Defender passes to next defender and so on until such time we either get pressed back and either lose control or just kick it out of play . Get ready for opposition attack In the event we manage to keep the ball for more than 3 or 4 passes between said defenders , one of them has to make some sort of effort to find an unmarked midfielder or at least one not standing trying to make themself inconspicuous next to an opposition player (madsen) Upon finding no such thing in existence a hastily boot down the wing in the hope one of our wide players can progress that usually ends out of play or the ball going to a player marked by 2 players - get ready for opposition attack Occasionally we will find ourselfs with the ball in an attacking formation so we make sure we either pass backwards again as the bstard opposition are not playing fair and trying to get the ball of us or pass the ball in the general direction of a team mate but make sure not directly as it looks better when they hold their run or have to run back a bit first . Get ready for opposition attack I’m not totally sure what we do when we venture into opposition territory, I don’t think we plan that far ahead ? Hope this helps
