There was a thread during Wimbledon this year. I’d been the previous year, and was lucky enough to get 2 tickets for Centre Court on day 4 via the ballot resale. Saw Andy Murray’s last singles match at Wimbledon.
I wasn’t lucky enough to get tickets this year, but Clive offered advice to join the LTA to enhance your chances. I paid £30 for the year, and won a place via their ballot.

10 years ago or so The Masters golf committee decided to open online registration for daily passes which is considered the holy grail of golf days out.
I registered for sh*ts and giggles knowing I had no hope but shockingly won 4 tickets for a practice round which was stunning.Telling my 2 best friends we were in and their reaction was priceless .Oh and I brought my wife also |  | | |

We were going to go for day 4 or 5, but when I saw I could get Men’s final tickets, it was a no brainer.

Snipper, did the same a couple of years back and joined the LTA and also have been successful in the ballot this year. Opted for the end of week 1 and have good centre court seats.
Worth noting that the priority booking for other tournaments opens soon. We had a nice day at Eastbourne last year (albeit a long way from here so it was a 3 night stay). Very good setting and we saw Boulter, Paolini and Radacanu. Definitely worth a day out at the coast. |  | | |
