It's never must-win (well, unless you're about to get relegated or win a trophy) but we really need a win tonight.

Thing is, to do that, we need to score a goal.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

On Saturday prior to the game, thought we might beat Sunderland and we played well but we didn't win for all the usual reasons in front of goal. Tonight do not feel so confident think that Boro will try and stifle the game and play out for a draw or get that early goal and we will toil away but to no avail. Probably be a draw, our speciality.

What I'm hoping is I've written the Sunderland and Boro previews the wrong way round...

Boro getting hammered at the weekend was not helpful, they'll be tough to beat tonight

Boro are wild this season. They could turn up tonight and play like Arsene Wenger's original Arsenal, or Paul Hart's original QPR. There doesn't seem to be a lot of in between from them, or any real rhyme or reason why or when they flip flop between the two. At Norwich they managed to do it at half time.

Not a team to trust on your coupon.

We need Morgan, Varane, Cook & Field to be superb again to have any chance at all….surely we will eventually score a goal or two just by accident?!

Agreed, Chair too who was bl00dy dreadful on Saturday.

Think his performance flew under the radar to an extent as many were so fixated on whether Celar was any good or not.

As I said in the report, against ten men I think you need to increase the speed and tempo of what you're doing, and increase the width. With Smyth went out speed, and with Chair dribbling infield every time went our width. And we died a death.

Smyth going off killed us, think you said this in your report but we needed him coming on those last 20 minutes

So that's 2 teams you wouldn't trust on your coupon (I'm including our last 2 games in that definition not our last 2 years of home form.

Got a drab nil-nil written all over it.

Also an interresting game going on around us with WRPA at home to Portsmouth and, knowing our luck, they'll probably both win.

I've got the Power.

Fireworks? Barely a sparkler in that performance.
