Seems like losing Fox and Dembele late on forced his hand on the sub bench but perhaps someone at the club should let the fans know what is going on with Kolli? Not that he's the answer but it does seem strange that he's been cut adrift. Especially as he is scoring goals at dev and U21 international level.

We have a stand off where everyone loses, in the short term, at least. Potentially, this sends a message to future young talent that we need you under an extended contract if you want game time. Potentially no one else gives a fcuk and we’re cutting our nose off to spite our face.

I get the hard ball approach but when you aren't playing well and you have a player who at least is an attacker, surely you include him? I guess we don't know the details of why he won't sign an extension but perhaps if he did get some match minutes his attitude would change? Perhaps I am too much of an optimist?

Maybe the club's approach hasn't been the best, but maybe Kolli's attitude hasn't been great either?
Yep who knows? Maybe its all about a contract renewal, and the handful of apps under Ainsworth have led Kolli and his reps to believe he's worth more than what has been offered.
If he is as good as some of the people online think he is, then the club should have no problem selling him in January if he wants to leave
