"Wales’ English Football League (EFL) clubs are in talks about a “transformational” change which would see them enter a Welsh cup competition in order to qualify for European football."

That wouldn’t work, we know where that’s heading.

Would be nice to have games in Europe again. It would probably get blocked by uefa on a technicality.

They weren’t difficult about it before. However, this will lead to calls to leave the English system. The likes of the Americans would jump at it, as they have no understanding of the damage that could be caused.

It’s such a dangerous game, the Swans shouldn’t be anywhere near it.

Never going to happen. Wasn't there a rule change, something to do with you first team must play in the league corresponding to the cup competition to qualify for European competition. The reason why our European adventures ceased, until Mr Laudrup came along.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sure there would be a backlash from teams who we may knock out in the FA cup etc with them missing out on a chance of qualifying when we couldn't.

Fans think differently to owners who see the £ short cut.

isn't the implication that we would no longer play in the FA Cup and League Cup?

that shouldn't be thrown away lightly if so ///

The LLC should buy Penybont and use fringw players and an enhanced u21 squad to compete against TNS and co.

Cotterill Congreve JT Evan Watts Dan Watts Ntoe a On on loan for 6 months. Kai Ludvigsen appears to be performing well there after his release last year. Mix with some old LoW pros and promising trialists in the u21 and bingo..

Wise sage since Toshack era

What’s wrong with a Swans Carmarthen derby ?

This has been rumbling on for about 30 years.
Of the four welsh clubs - one has shown they are more than capable of getting into Europe via the League Cup.
What great memories 2013 gave us. I don't think we realised how lucky we were at the time.

I recall standing outside Wembley after the game and one guy said to me that it was a poor game and we should have scored more 🙄

Didn't think I would be able to make the final, I'd just had a big op and was in a pretty frail state. I bought tickets but when i realised where they were I thought there's no way I can do the stairs ! My Mrs spoke to the ticket office and they were first class tbh. They moved us, had seats about 5 rows behind the bench, even had a brief word with Mr Laudrup . Anyway, missed our euro adventure due to my treatment and would love us to get there again but not at this cost. Could be thin edge of the wedge.

Mad. Don’t do it.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
