The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy 21:00 - Sep 27 with 42806 views | captainmycaptian | Right few beers in,and got work tomorrow. No one seems to have done a thread on this 12.30 atmosphere killing TV is ruining football kick off time. My hat, coat and scarf off to those making the trip. Well done you Hardy bunch. Can't see getting much from this would be happy with another draw, which would be a decent point the way rovers are playing. But as I have started my first thread without doubt putting the mockers on it. Probably a spanking on the way. We'll certainly if they play like they did against Millwall. Either way 1-2 to the mighty rangers ....... beer does help doesn't it

The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 14:25 - Sep 28 by Damo1962 | At least we haven't been disgraced score wise.Football wise...we look non league. MC has his excuse today with Varane, but many more performances like this... and questions will be rightly asked.Chair isn't going to solve all this on his own either. |

Men against boys. Our newbies, with exception of Nardi and maybe Harrison are too lightweight in this league. Beginning to doubt the footballing ability of some of them as well. Long season ahead, with very few grass roots showing so far.
The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 14:34 - Sep 28 with 2603 views | TomMorgz7 | We've been pretty crap all season haven't we? I feel like we've conceded the exact same goal about 20 times now, player gets to the edge of the box, nobody goes near him, he shoots and either scores a worldy (sigh) or scores an irritating deflection (even bigger sigh). I mean, compare that first goal to Eze's last week, pretty much a carbon copy. How many times are we going to slowly trudge out to the man on the edge of the box? Repeating these mistakes time and time again is what irritates me the most

The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 14:00 - Sep 28 by Damo1962 | Ironic that the one season we started with higher than usual expectations...is the one where we could in all likelihood drop.Totally unconvinced by any of these new players or the manager. |
Well we've learned our lesson now as fans won't be making that mistake for another decade (until next year)
The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 14:37 - Sep 28 with 2514 views | R_from_afar | If, God forbid, Frey gets injured, we are in a whole world of hurt. We desperately need one of our other forward players to start scoring a few. Please 🙏.... Frey's probably also the only one who can hold the ball, he is a strong and a real battler. Come on my team.

Very poor display we don’t look fit but we couldn’t hit a cows arse with bango. You see other teams who aren’t good like Plymouth and Sheff wed take it to the top teams and score 2 or 3 it’s a worry we lack something we look very laboured and slow not quick enough to break away and break teams down | | | | Login to get fewer ads
The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 14:38 - Sep 28 with 2479 views | willesdenr | Team in progress? I suspect this is it and can’t see Chair making much difference. Every team we play closes us down so much quicker, we make it too easy for them.
The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 14:42 - Sep 28 with 2375 views | DWQPR | Didn’t watch todays match but for me MC really has to consider his footballing philosophies against the pragmatism of championship football. Too much pïssballing about at the back, too slow in the build up and suspect against any team that tries to press us to any degree. At this time we look a poor side. Watched Plymouth last night and they looked lightyears ahead of us. Really enjoyed their style of play. Yep we are missing Chair but to be fair Dembele should be providing the dynamism in midfield. We are now in danger of seeing MC’s stay unraveling unless he starts to realise that a) he isn’t Pep and b) we haven’t the defence and midfield that Citeh has. A good manager adapts to the players at his disposal and gets them to play a style that makes the most of their attributes. A bad one keeps making the same mistakes time and again. Last week he was annoyed that the team didn’t play to the way he wanted. To be honest I think he could say the same every week so far bar a few odd halves. It’s time to get the team playing like he did in the final third of last season.

Beaten twice this season by two decent sides . We need Chair back for his dynamism . Next month will be huge . Let’s see where we are at the end of it . Hats off to travelling support . The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 15:06 - Sep 28 with 1903 views | mart_Goblin | Another frustrating and infuriating performance. How many times have we said the following this season already ; “Stupidity from our central midfielder” “Smyth has to score” “We look slow and lacklustre” “Just keep the ball” “We are so easy to play against” “F*ck sake it’s deflected off of Cook” “Turn and go forward!!!” “ we are not strong enough” And there are many many more The ref was garbage but we have to do better with what we control!!! I’ve seen or been at every match this season and I’m saying the same things over and over and over. MC indicates that this is not how he wants the team to play so why are these players playing the way they are ? They have to take responsibility on the pitch and MC is to blame for anything it’s not getting his message across to this bunch because it’s repeat after repeat . Sorry for the rant . Just so frustrating at the moment and hopefully that will change soon
The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 15:12 - Sep 28 with 1825 views | essextaxiboy | This game was all about the red card , we were doing ok against a team full of confidence on their own pitch . To get sent off at that time in that part of the pitch was just madness and let everyone down teammates and fans alike . He was surely getting hooked at H T and I am confident we could have gone toe to toe with them 2nd half . It’s no coincidence that the outfield players who have experience in this league are performing better , we have to give them time but pressed the self destruct button today . Varane needs to reflect on today .
The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 15:15 - Sep 28 with 1784 views | Rs_Holy | stopped watching as soon as they scored their first as i have seen this film soooooooooooooooooooooooooo many times before. Didn't like the look of the team selection but Marti does like a bit of rotation. I think Smyth, Saito and Dembele in the same team is never going to work ... like playing with 3 youth players. As for Varane and Santos, dear oh dear...why do we keep getting dross like this?... I suppose it's because we are shopping at Poundland every summer?

The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 14:18 - Sep 28 by derbyhoop | Contest ended with their second. We haven't has a single shot on target all game. Can't recall a single shot at all 2nd half. |
I decided to go for a nice walk listening to a podcast and have ended up at a small real ale bar drinking a pint of a Westerham stout called Wally Winkers in Varane's "honour".
The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 15:19 - Sep 28 with 1686 views | Toast_R | I've not seen a red card as dumb as that since Joey Barton's exploits. Stoppage time of stoppage time and he does that? Just wish the ref had bought the dive from Dolan seconds before Varane came away with the ball.

Until Varane’s moment of madness we were still in the game against an average Blackburn team without playing well. However whatever tactics were discussed in both dressing rooms at half time clearly worked for them and not us. We were very poor 2nd half even taking into account the ten men.
The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 15:28 - Sep 28 with 1508 views | rbee | A lot of fans saying that our performance today was poor. Well Blackburn's first half performance was also poor! It was an even game up until the red card and we could have easily got a point or three in the second half without the red card. The red card itself was of course stupid, on the stroke of half time and in a nothing part of the pitch. Varane was lost in the moment, he had lost the ball and was trying to win the ball back for his team, our team. That is football. I would rather see this type of battling dismissal than two yellow cards for dissent. Our new signings. Thanks to the jolly old Profit and Sustainability regulations our transfer budget is limited but helped by the sale of Armstrong, many players leaving etc. This transfer window we have spread our net far and wide and signed young players with potential. Would you prefer this strategy or prefer us to be looking around the lower divisions, along with most other clubs in The Championship, looking for and paying over the top for that potential unpolished diamond. I know what I prefer. Everybody connected with our club should realise that not ALL of these signings will work out but they still all need time. For me all of our new signings have improved since their debuts and it was great to see Varane and Santos getting stuck in today. Our unbeaten run seems to have been forgotten. We have players to come back and I think that our season will reflect the recent changes at our club resulting in us finishing not too far away from the comfort of our 16th place.

It’s clear to me you cannot play the way Marti wants to with this centre midfield. None of them are technically good enough to take the ball in tight spaces, turn, and play forward. Which is probably why none of them don’t go and demand the ball and try and get us playing. We have no deep lying playmaker, despite spending millions, so Marti ball is essentially a dead duck. How or why the team wasn’t built round this critical need is the bigger question
The no ones bothered Blackburn match thingy on 15:30 - Sep 28 with 1463 views | NorthantsHoop | Regardless of the sending off, Frey is virtually having to do everything at the top end of the pitch. Personally would like to see him and Alfie Lloyd as a front two. I didn't like the look of our front line today far too lightweight with Saito, Dembele and Smyth. Dembele off his game today never got into it. Smyth is not a starter for me, would prefer Lloyd who is bigger and stronger. Passing in the team as a whole is poor. Lucky to get away with a 2-0 defeat, Varane looks a liability at the moment and so it proved.
