i questioned the meaning of all life last night... acid jazz high sensei 'Omar', who had a few top ten hits in the early 90's,was on Radio BBC Essex yesterday, as he was promoting his nostalgia tour and appearing 5 minutes away from my drum at the Boatyard In leigh on sea.
Having waited enough time on the phone to Master the high teachings of Umayyad Dynasty Islamic Textile Studies, i was finally patched through on a line that was more full of static than the Apollo 15 line from the sea of fecundity as they circumnavigated the Mons Hadley.
Being a wednesday night after work as a humble probation officer, I was obviously cu nted out of my skate on dirty booze and thus emboldened to the point where i felt a kinship of sorts with Omar.
Over the piss poor line, i ventured to the Talkin' Loud Dingwalls kingpin , That He was heavily influenced in his early body of work by Donald Byrd, Larry Fonce Mizzell, Ramsey lewis, Johnny Hammond and Gary Bartz, who were in point of fact, a tesseract and thus tapping the creative source that lurked dormant within and That Dj Patrick Forge and Dj Jay Strongman of the shake and fingerpop collective, were an organic conduit of some higher nature who showcased his Dirty Funk to a clued up element, who in turn, have remained staunch and loyal for the last 25 years to his Music.
Omar replied 'Patrick Who Mate?', before i was cut off and returned to Tales of the unexpected on Itv 4.
i went to bed with a horlicks and a flea in my ear. its all bollocks.
life, what a bastard. Whats the fackin point..

"I was lying on the grass of Sunday morning of last week Indulging in my self-defeat My mind was thugged, all laced and bugged, all twisted, wrong and beat A comfortable three feet deep Now the fuzzy stare from not being there on a confusing morning week Impaired my tribal lunar speak And of course you can't become if you only say what you would have done So I missed a million miles of fun"
"I know it's up for me (If you steal my sunshine) Making sure I'm not in too deep (If you steal my sunshine) Keeping versed and on my feet (If you steal my sunshine)"
"[Verse 2: Sharon] I was frying on the bench slide in the park across the street L-A-T-E-R that week My sticky paws were into making straws out of big fat slurpy treats An incredible eight-foot heap Now the funny glare to pay a gleaming tare in a staring under heat Involved an under usual feat And I'm not only among but I invite who I want to come So I missed a million miles of fun"
"[Chorus: Marc & Sharon] I know it's up for me (If you steal my sunshine) Making sure I'm not in too deep (If you steal my sunshine) Keeping versed and on my feet (If you steal my sunshine) [Chorus: Marc & Sharon] I know it's done for me (If you steal my sunshine) Not some and hard to see (If you steal my sunshine) Keeping dumb and built to beat (If you steal my sunshine)
[Outro: Marc & Sharon] My sunshine, if you steal my sunshine My sunshine, if you steal my sunshine My sunshine, if you steal my sunshine My sunshine, if you steal my sunshine My sunshine, if you steal my sunshine My sunshine, if you steal my sunshine My sunshine, if you steal my sunshine My sunshine, if you steal my sunshine My sunshine, if you steal my sunshine
My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Chelshit buying the champions league and fluking it too.
However, there has been the on-going Karmic chaos of a sanctioned owner and then Boehly's chaotic smash and grab on every talented prospect in Europe turning them into a more expensive version of the Florists, and laughing stock.

When people like Trump, Putin and Johston appear to win at life, when there is child cancer, misogyny, sexism, racism etc. When those purporting to be god's representative fiddle with kids, you really have to wonder what this "god" is doing and if they do exist why we are praising them...
A family of magpies has lived and bred in the back gardens where I live for as long as I've lived here. Sometimes the entire brood gathers on the roofs of the houses opposite, I've seen as many 15 of them at one time. They've never left the area in 30 years. Their variety of calls and mannerisms is incredible and sometimes we have a chat. They've got an interesting perspective on life and we sometimes discuss quantum physics and the magical nature of the universe.
For me, it doesn't matter whether there is a god or not, life is still miraculous.
Afterthought edit: Although I do think there is something at the heart of it all that loves us, loves everything, unconditionally, without any human overlay of judgement or moral.
My worst teacher in middle school was Ms Hindle, the RE teacher. Proper c*nt.
Anyway, she did a whole hour on hell. I remember her saying that if you're basically sound but don't repent for the original sin, you burn for eternity. I literally remember "you burn but the flesh isn't consumed" and if you're basically a bad person you burn but are on a spinning wheel and are dizzy and burning eternity.
Thanks, Hindle, I'm ten by the way. Can you f**king not try to terrify me and mates with existential terror, you f**king SHREW.
Anyway, it all sounded A BIT MUCH. And so I went into break time after and said that that all sounded like a load of bollocks. And that was me out of the religion game.
So a) she did me a solid and b) she's almost certainly dead now.

I call myself a born again atheist. Brought up as C of E ,refused to go to Sunday school. Am a firm believer that all religions are created by the wealthy to scare the poor into obedience. John Lennon was right all along.
favourite cheese mature Cheddar. FFS there is no such thing as the EPL
ecstasy pills circa '89 to '92 were the equivalent to Andy Warhol's golden telephone which he claimed gave him a direct line to god.
Trouble with that is once your have opened the doors of perception to the palace of wisdom and awoken the pineal gland to touch god's Face , theres nowhere else to go.
All your left with is the mundane trappings of everyday life. The tatty trinkets and paltry baubles of our seemingly endless existence..
What are we left with??.. Rufus hound on daytime quiz shows with a ronald mortensen pastel jumper slung over his shoulders and adverts targeting pensioners to sell their wedding rings and medals so they can feed themselves with mechanically recoverd offal and expired spam.
A Swindle most foul.

I realized when the whole lot of stuff that had tried to be drummed into me at all the schools I attended was total nonsense. It was all unproven w ritten by ignorant men from centuries ago. Not for me thanks!

I dont knock people who find comfort, love , companionship and solace in god. Its very easy to sneer at christian peoples who worship and tithe. If they beleive in a higher power as they understand it to be . good on them . Let them love and tarry awhile in a community that accepts them for what they are. Human beings with all our imperfections and faults.
i tried it for a couple of years , lifeline community church., Dagenham. I never got the hang of it. i found it was for a body of people who didn't quite fit in with life and societal norms. they needed to belong and feel loved. Poor damaged souls craving acceptance and a meaning in life, And church gave them that. Let them beleive , love and worship without prejudice .
If people need to fill that black hole with booze, food, drugs, porn , QPR or god let them. Go with god or not, but dont judge nor sneer at their chosen rack and pinion to navigate their own lives.
After all, Who made us the Roland Freisler of peoples desire and search for something greater than the asphalt jungle we reside in 24/7?

Wise words.
As an avowed atheist, I sometimes envy people who believe in God as their beliefs seem to help them through life and they do no-one any harm.
On the other hand, TV evangelists and anyone who pretends to have psychic powers would deserve their own special place in Hell if it existed.

I'm fine about it, whatever they want to believe or do with their time. Specially if it gives them solace.
Problem is that religions tend to tell everyone else what they should be doing and how they live their lives - cos they've got the higher power on their side telling them they're in the right. And who can argue with that? Women not being able to speak in public places, go out in public without a man - well it's god saying it, innit? Anyone less filled with bliss and the milk of human kindness were the nuns at my school largely making everyone's life a misery.
