Cambridge..stick or twist? 13:40 - Aug 11 with 2036 viewswortonr

So the usual cup dilemma..how to avoid the inevitable embarrassment. However, maybe this time there are different priorities. Do we stick with what is currently, hopefully, the basis of a first team…or do we do the usual and field an odd job bunch of misfits? To be honest, that’s pretty much what Saturday’s lot felt like.

I would give Walsh, Santos and Morrison games. I would of said Cannon as well but who knows what's going on there. Would have started Fox also if fit.
Maybe Varane some more minutes in the 2nd half.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Strongest team possible please.

We're never going to win it if, at the sight of the first tricky opponent, we go in half-cocked, just so we've got an excuse lined up!

That said, I'd rest older players like Cook and Colbeck and start with either Right Said Fred or Dykes, before bringing in the Slovenian Terminator to finish the fookers off good and proper!!

I’d definitely be starting Varane and probably Morrison for Colback and Cook.
Is probably keep Celar in, but I’d consider dykes playing in that withdrawn 9 that worked for a bit last year.
Otherwise, same team for me Clive.

Bare bones.

I think Marti could well play Saturday's starting 11 with the message that they underperformed and need to redeem themselves.

My first thought upon seeing your starting XI...I can see that line-up trotting out at Wembley on 16 March 2025!

Not sure who we'll be playing in the final, but they're already wetting themselves.
