Obviously, it's subjective and non-political so a win-win, so what is your new "Beautiful" song.
As most of us on here, I'm an old timer and have my favourite choons, going back to the 80's, 90's, that will alwys give me goose bumps, but what's your newest song that takes you to a beautiful place.
This is mine. It's just, well, beautiful. A "Where Love Lives" (apologies ngb! ) of the naughties. I've heard it mixed in to so many tunes and it just gets me each time.
So, this is just the simple track version but when it's mixed in well, wow!
There are so many but this is certainly one of them.
I think of it as two beautiful songs in one, Gladys singing one and the Pips singing another, combining to produce one of the great classic soul songs.

I didn’t realise it until a couple of days ago when here in Portugal I was sat with my Mrs outdoors of a restaurant having drinks and dinner after a day on the beach. A couple of street musicians were performing outside our restaurant. He was an amazing Spanish guitarist and she had the voice of an angel.
She sang only the opening first word of this song, I muttered ‘oh no’ and then simply burst out crying - grief is a cooount- how it can just catch you out when you least expect it.
