Achilles injuries are notorious for taking their time to heal. I pinged mine on a run (stupidly kept going instead of stopping) and it took the best part of a year for the bruising and sensation to go completely. Ginnelly is clearly younger than I was, fitter and has full time therapy but there’s only so much you can do. It’s a time thing after that.

The Summer Transfer Rumours Thread on 18:01 - Aug 6 with 4426 views | Dr_Winston | The absolute contempt some people have for our players just for having the sheer effrontery to get injured is quite sickening, fair play.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Ah, ok, I would much rather him fit and well as second choice than the two behind him. Still think there’s plenty of time for him to move though.

Said in jest, had so many hamstring and ankle injuries the latter caused by playing on Penlan's horse trodden playing in fields in the summer, a horses can cause some quite large holes in a sodden pitches to dry out into nice foot traps.paying the price of playing five a side in later life now but don't regret it at all. While these boys dedicate a lot of their youth to football, life goes on after a football playing career ends there are other avenues to occupy your lives. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
The Summer Transfer Rumours Thread on 20:32 - Aug 6 with 4089 views | onehunglow | Players are well paid to be employed by our club. They get injured and receive the best care possible They continue to get laid They do not contribute to the club because they are injured . The sheer cheek of fans to not be asking questions . I mean, we re a benevolent society aren’t we. This fella has hardly kicked a ball in anger for us yet hearts bleed for him copiously . We take back injured players past their best ,we take back players who are injured . We give long term contracts to injured players who are past their best And nobody is arsed The cheek of it all.
