Started already since we thumped the Yorkshire Massive so going early.

Apparently we are linked with Bosun Lawal. Celtic, on loan at Fleetwood, centre midfield or centre back. 20 years old, Irish apparently.

Feel free to add as they come in !

I'm guessing Talla will be allocated to their B team who play in the Spanish 5th tier initially. Often the case in Spain, I don't see him walking straight into a side in La Liga 2 who will be going all out for promotion to La Liga. Great experience for him though and it will be mans football due to B teams being in the league

hahaha....nah

How pally do we think Wilder and Jason Dozzell got back in 1998 when they were both at Northampton? Stinks of Wilder doing his old mate a favour - no way in hell he's watched Dozzell play football and genuinely thought he'd improve their midfield.

How much do we believe we're shelling out 1.5m euros for anyone?

There are a few reasons to think we might afford it.

The new EFL/Sky broadcasting deal means each Championship club will receive around £5.7m per year.

Also, there seems to be interest in some of our players such as Armstrong, Dykes, JCS and Paal. Nothing concrete is happening that we know of but Nourry keeps his cards to his chest and there's plenty of time to go before the transfer window closes.

And, I might be wrong but, aren't we now in a better place concerning FFP?

If Dykes and Armstrong are indeed on their way, and the coins aren't made of chocolate, I don't think that's as far fetched as it would have been 12 months ago.

We are actually going to buy someone for cash, with real money.
I feel slightly lightheaded.

Did Liam Morrison not cost us something? Genuine question, I have no idea.

Yes, we did buy Morrison for an undisclosed fee. The Transfer Market site had him valued at £300k.

Doesn't bode that well that Jan Mlakar was getting in the Slovenian team in front of him (although weirdly playing on the wing)

Using my vast expertise and knowledge of European football (i.e. I looked him up on wikipedia) It Says Here that he scored 40 goals in 95 appearances since 2021 and his club play in the top tier in Switzerland.

Which sounds err, quite good, I think? Or am I missing something (e.g. that he would never sign for us in a million years?)

Also appears to have a Swiss Cup winner's medal. We'll soon knock any of that nonsense out of him if he turns up at Loftus Road.

I’m a little bit gutted

If he was in last year and won’t sign an extension then had to be done.
I think he’ll have a career and may even click into a really good striker one day

Good luck for the future Sincs but I hope when we play you that you’re as panicky in front of goal as you are at the moment

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

"Good luck for the future" - why? I always rated Sinclair and I really think he will come good but QPR is all I care about. When he goes I hope his career fades into miserable nothingness, alongside Willock.

I can already feel myself getting irritated when people clap on their return.

What for? We stand by these guys when they are learning / rubbish / injured and they don't even have the decency to sign a new contract that means we can get proper recompense like Eze. It's why I will always make more allowances for Dykes.

I know they only have one career etc, but that career could be a perfectly good one, just like Eze, without doing us over.

The positive is that at least he hasn't run his contract down for a bigger signing on fee, I suppose

No, we pay them a wage to do a job.
The idea that a player isn’t allowed to leave when they want: either with a fee or when their contract runs out is a bit absurd. They’re human beings, we don’t own them.

Bare bones.

I'm Irish so a little biased. I wanted Sinclair to well for QPR and the fact he was Irish added to that. So I have followed with interest his development while at QPR. You can see the general improvement over the last couple of years and there is no doubt he has come on somewhat. His movement and ability has improved and for example not offside as much! . I watched him score a couple of goals for ROI U21's during the summer and I was impressed with his movement for one of those goals. He's a big unit, powerful and direct and will only get better however I'm not convinced he will play at the top level. It's a pity he has chosen to move on but that's life so fair play to him.

Of course that is true but its a right boring way of supporting a football club in my eyes. Of course he can do what he wants, but that makes him someone that I have no interest in any longer.

I know that puts me in the minority. I remember Seaman coming back and people looking incredously at the few who were (rightly) having a go at him.

Stand up for the Rangers. Get behind them and pour vitriol on past players who gave us no more than a second thought.

Or, read The Guardian Employment Law supplement and state they all have human rights.

I know where I stand - on the side of juvenility and the Rangers.

Seaman got terrible abuse when he came back so the minority would have been the people supporting him !

I tend to agree with your viewpoint on this . Some players deserve appreciation for what they have done for the club but others like Armstrong, Robinson and Willock etc can do one .

Also he's clearly only moving for money as Bristol won't do much if any better than us this season.

I see your and Bannister's point of view, but it does make me laugh. You know plenty of players we have signed have only come for the money? You know Steve Cook 'came for the money' in terms of a longer contract, right? You know when we signed Charlie Austin from Burnley, it was because we offered more money, right? It's just a weird stance to have, when our club, like all clubs, is happy to welcome players making the exact same decisions Willock and Armstrong are making.

If you don't want to cheer them when they come back, that's fine, who cares? Personally, as I've got older, I've found the booing of former players a bit embarrassing, and mainly it serves to fire them up more than anything. It's a bit self-defeating. I'd rather just cheer my own team. I think Armstrong always he did his best for us and he certainly really cared: he'll get a polite clap from me, and I think Willock had his ups and downs, but I'll always remember some of the absolute joy he provided, too.

The Armstrong move and your view on it is interesting because we have a pretty direct comparison with Dickie. Because he was so out of form, we didn't mind him going (and it may well be they offered more money, by the way), and so there's little or no bad blood. But because some fans don't think it's the right time for Armstrong to go, or are annoyed he refused a new contract (if another club is offering a better deal, why the fk would he sign a lower one?! Is he an idiot? Out of loyalty? To a group of fans who forced him to close his social media a few months back because of the amount of abuse he was taking? Yeah, why not) he can 'do one'.

Fans are funny beasts, but then, football wouldn't be football without those contradictions!

Bare bones.

The difference is they have a far better record at developing and selling on players than we have over the past few years.

This will be attractive to young players with ambitions of playing at a higher level.

Our record in this regard is abysmal.
