Properly channelled the Spirit of Di Carmine!! (The only good thing that Samuel ever did for us!) Cements his place in QPR folk lore for that.

Always rated him! On a level, I was critical of Dunne during his rough patch and probably a bit harsh on him. Couldn’t be happier to see him prove me wrong with every appearance and long may it continue.

I thought he was done at QPR to be honest so poor was his form but he's had a real renaissance under Marty in this full back role. Like a brand new signing to be honest. What a goal as well. That was a special moment possibly the Blackstock v Preston moment of our season.

As I said on the Match thread I thought he was Dunne.

Then he comes in at right back and wow like Churchill after the Wilderness years suddenly he becomes the man.

What an attitude and now he doesn't have to do the CB stuff he's playing free flow.

You could have put both Schmeichel's in goal and they wouldn't have kept that out. Amazing.

Both Peter and Kaspar Schmeichel combined not saving that...

He was already way ahead of the others as MOM before the goal. Won every single header, gliding past defenders as if they weren't there, flicks and tricks. That was an 11 out of 10 today if ever I've seen one.

Went to The Mary Wallopers gig at the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm last week. Like Jimmy, they are also from Dundalk in Ireland.

Got chatting in the pub beforehand to four or five fellas and one of them mentioned Jimmy Dunne. I immediately told them I was an R, turned out two of them were too. One of the guys mentioned that Jimmy used his local pub and would sometimes be in tears after a Rangers defeat.

Jimmy has got guts and character in spades, and I'm delighted for him, and absolutely hoarse from screaming after his goal today. What a day that turned out to be.

Marti and Lucas must be loving that atmosphere of a full HQ....no disrespect but it must've been completely different in Sweden/Denmark.

Marti commented about his attitude on the training ground and in general.
Said he was a quality human being.
Says it all about the man.

Marti's previous club had bigger gates, but yes the noise at the end was special

Just got home he was MOTM all day long.

Keeps it simple....runs into spaces and passes it to more technical players when he can.

Always a threat at set pieces and has made us way more solid at the back (especially on set pieces).

Seems like a very likeable lad and is coming into his prime.

That strike will live long in the memory. A thing of beauty.

You can also see how happy every single player was for him, it's clear he is really popular. Loved the way the team all celebrated, team spirit is definitely there.

I can't remember the last time I have been so pleased for someone playing for us!

He's a bit of legend, it would appear.
