Somebody's going to Birmingham, somebody's going to jail - Preview 19th Jan 2024 20:18
QPR have warmed up for Saturday's do-or-continue-to-die clash with Millwall by having their best player accused of assault with a lump of rock, and loaning one of the few midfielders they've got left to a relegation rival. 3

Forget the ginger Pirlo, Colback plays like he's had a few glasses of red merlot. That Watford game was almost Samba Diakite-esque.

He has and always will be a nasty little prick. Not got a problem with that, but you have to use your loaf and at least be a bit cute about it. He comes across as an idiotic thug and is always operating on the edge with a red or yellow card always likely. Now Dozzell has gone, he needs to rein it in and ensure he is available to play without constantly being suspended.

Cifuentes needs to pull him and Field to one side and realigned their approach to how midfielders should go about their work.

You’re right Burnley, but a few weeks ago with nothing better to do I looked back at Colback’s career. He has done this every season, with every team he’s been with since he made his debut. I suspect every manager has tried to tell him to rein it in, but if he hasn’t learned yet, at 34, he never bloody will.

Bare bones.

And now he's slower so there'll be more late tackles resulting in fouls.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Brilliant article as always just shocking how much we have really flatlined or fell off the table as a club since Eze moved on to his rightful place in the game .
How long did you have to search for that picture of Andre the ghost .He looks like he is at fulls print with the ball at his feet ,head up looking for that killer pass or uloading that missile into the net.
He looks like a proper player but sadly a picture tells the wrong story here he is no good when the going gets tough

From a report on Birmingham today. Same shít, different day.

Andre Dozzell - 6
Dozzell was the polar opposite to Sunjic. In possession he was composed and tried to thread intricate passes through to Blues’ forwards, but out of possession he wasn’t so effective and picked up a needless booking for a tug back on Wallace

It's always noisiest at the shallow end
