I keep hearing about The Last Dinner Party so it's good to finally check them out. They remind me of ABBA though so I'm out.

This was recorded 11 years ago but I only just stumbled across it. It's timely in a way because Echolyn are on the cusp of issuing their first new album since 2015 and the special guest on this track, Francis Dunnery (formerly of It Bites), is about to release his first new It Bites material for 24 years. His band is snappily entitled Francis Dunnery's It Bites but there is another incarnation of It Bites - simply known as It Bites - in which John Mitchell replaces Dunnery on guitar and lead vocals; two long term members of It Bites are also in that band.
Is that all clear? Good, because there is a test later LOL.
The track itself is a beautiful peace of medolic rock, in my humble opinion.
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I've got quite the next couple of weeks, seeing Rik Astley (won't hear a word said against him), Shed Seven and then The Last Dinner Party all in Kingston. Result!
