...builders. I'm in the Pocket Watch, enjoying conversation with a couple of gents who banged up his extension.

Squeeze problem reduced, if not resolved, by placing empty 'beakers' into each other...until two hands are required to consume beverage.

Quite enjoyed the Camden Pale Ale.

Looking out the window, I spotted the Waterford R's lined up outside the Conny, taking pics, flying flags, all happy people. Was going to cross the street for a quick chat, when I discovered the two gents beside me were Harry's builders in his new property development wheeze down in Bournemouth. Naturally I stayed put for the crafty cockney anecdotes.

Years ago, I used to go on trips to Henley on Thames to do Brakspear pub crawls.
Nowadays, I think the Pocket Watch is the only Brakspear pub in London, but I hear bad comments on what Brakspear ales are now like.
Did you sample any or just the Camden ?

D'you remember Sarah who suffered, I think from Crohns. Think she went back to Ireland.

Think so….she was quite ill and had to have an operation. She came back behind the bar but not really recovered. As said, I think she went back to Ireland. About maybe four years back ? Lovely lady.

Had a pint of Estrella, did not like. Switched to the Pale Ale, stuck with that until match time.
