Humidity…… 11:43 - Oct 12 with 1907 viewscolinallcars

I always struggle in humid weather. Humidity was 97% this morning and still 96% approaching noon which is highly unusual. So what happens at 100% humidity ? Is it like falling in the canal ?

Footballers often give 1000%.

I think I know what’s coming next.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Think it's got something to do with the dew point, or jew point, one of the two. I did geography A-Level twice but never quite came to grips with it. Was more of a plate tectonics man myself. Love a good plate - the San Andreas fault and all that. Marvellous.

Were these immense levels of humidity in or around London though? I took a walk to the coop and it was hardly sandal weather.

I'm sure this is all google-able but agree that sometimes it's better just to ask.

Well humidity varies depending on air temperature. Warm air can hold much more water vapour than cold air although there is always a maximum. For example 100% humidity at 35c is 3 buckets of water and 100% humidity at 5c is half a bucket of water. So sandals don’t come into it ;)

Our local coop is now an ASDA. I’m not surprised because they were really taking the hiss with many of their prices.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Not the fields but the main culprit I reckon Is the damp air It can be vicious, It's eased off a bit now but nigh on most nights when I got out the shower I'd likely get an attack, mainly mild thankfully but like I say that's eased off now but If I go out In the rain and get wet that's a bastard.
Anyway I'm fine Mate as I hope you are too.

Can't complain mate. Cool damp air used to do it to me too - only occasionally these days.

I just googled ‘humidity’ and ‘Snake’… still none the wiser.

Although it did say humidity was 93% right now.
