Rub of the green? 18:04 - Sep 30 with 1639 views | stainrods_elbow | Losing goal in 99th min v Norwich Handball goal for the Swans Red card vs Sunderland (probably deserved, but arguably a thick yellow for a first offence) then deflected goal for their equaliser Amstrong hits both posts v Ipswich Smyth hits bar vs Southampton Stonewall pen today and at least 3/4 outrageous fouls against us unpunished Have we run over Jude the Cat? I'd say we could and should have had at least 4-6 more points by now, but a combination of execrable refereeing, fine margins, and undeserved kicks in the teeth have really helped f*uck us so far. That, and, as today, a splash of our own fecklessness and/or rank incompetence. When does the wind turn? [Post edited 30 Sep 2023 18:05]

Rub of the green? on 18:08 - Sep 30 with 1577 views | LowerloftLad | I went to the Swansea game. The fact we couldn't beat an extremely poor swans side at home left me exiting the ground very concerned while most seemed content with a point. The simple facts are we are not good enough. The effort was there granted but the lack of quality was obvious and the paper thin squad only adds to the issues. [Post edited 30 Sep 2023 18:14]

Rub of the green? on 18:21 - Sep 30 with 1467 views | Hunterhoop | I’m sure some dodgy decisions have gone out way, but nothing like the case against. Our team is limited. We know that. We can’t fix it with players. We lack depth. Again. See above. We could be more expansive, but we know when we are we concede a lot. Second half was a small example of that. None of us want us to be a back foot side. But we have to accept where we are. Post Watford the shape has been good. The players are trying. Execution and confidence are the issue. We need some luck.
Rub of the green? on 18:40 - Sep 30 with 1330 views | Paddyhoops | We’re not very good and haven’t been for a long time. Sure ref was dreadful… again, but they ran through like a dose of salts second half. was hoping it would work out with Gareth. It’s plainly not. 20 times on the trot I’ve been there. One win!! It’s starting to get to me and everyone else. Still we emptied the tank!

Rub of the green? on 19:40 - Sep 30 with 1110 views | Mick_S | For once, I had a fairly decent stream today. First half, we did ok, but had no cutting edge when we were going forward. Again. I mentioned on the match thread, that we’ve been worked out - keep us quiet first 45, we are done and there for the taking in the second half, especially at home, which is what Coventry did and they deserved the win - no doubt. Cov pressed and pressed, Just like Sunderland did, because they, and all of us watching know what’s going to happen. We didn’t get the rub today, that happens - unlucky touches and bounces etc - but that non-penalty decision was a killer. Maybe a game changer. I’ve not had a chance to see it again, but that seemed to be a genuinely rotten decision. Still think we’ll be ok.
