Dozzell's spectacular arrival drives QPR's latest Riverside wonder - Report 4th Sep 2023 07:31
QPR made it four wins from five visits to Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium, and added to their collection of spectacular goals on this ground, with a 2-0 victory on Saturday inspired by a 30 yarder from an unlikely source. 12

Man, you must have loved that!

That's a gigantic hobby horse of yours for years!

I certainly enjoyed it. The team has lacked spine for too long. Fingers and toes crossed that Cook and Colback can stay fit because we're a very quiet team without them.

He and Cook are professionals though. They are leaders on the pitch, which we desperately needed. Two year contracts are longer than we want, but to have around the squad when we have so many inexperienced players and so little cash to sign players in their prime, is probably worth it. Obviously we need to hope their legs hold longer than Johansen and Austin.

Our recruitment and development has been pony for years . Just takes a manager to come in , not like what they see in the squad and get some experience in the door . Every manager since probably the 2nd stint of Holloway. There always seems an attitude problem with the young players. Apart from Chair . We just havnt developed a player thats willing to run through brick walls for the club and the badge and maybe Ainsworth will bring that attitude back. ?
