Much better game since the 2 goals.
We've had more of the game but we're keeping a really good defensive shape. Midfield doing a sterling defensive job. Soton playingn in front of our 2 lines. 76% possession and 1 clear chance.
Armstrong had 1 disallowed for offside after Chair's jinking run and shot. Correct decision.
Other HT scores good for us. Huddersfield, Rotherham losing at home. Cardiff/Wednesday level. [Post edited 26 Aug 2023 16:02]

541 defending and 3421 attacking. We're playing deep which bothered me at first as it looked like Watford all over again. But it's working well as, apart from their goal, they've not created much.
We've looked pretty good going forward and had a goal ruled offside. If we can get out of our half more in the second and put them under pressure, you never know... |  | | |
