England manager on 23:57 - Aug 17 with 943 views | SydneyRs | Ability wise maybe, but a very different dynamic. Shed be faced with the usual horrible press attention and a fan base where large parts still make derisory comments about the women's game all the time and would be all over her after the first defeat. She's clearly established fantastic relationships with the women players and has been tactically superb in adjusting to each opponent and also a number of England's star players being unavailable. I'm hugely impressed with how she's navigated the team through this tournament. The Australian game especially was a tactical masterclass, largely negating the strengths of the home team and frustrating a partisan crowd. She also expertly deflected stupid media questions about rivalry and kept her team well away from the ridiculous media hype and focused on the job to be done.
England manager on 02:48 - Aug 18 with 875 views | numptydumpty | Or another question ?? Would she be better than Warburton, Beale, Critchley, Ainsworth and Ferdinand. I would certainly welcome her as our forward thinking club leading the way for new age ideas. Not sure how well it would go down with some of our old school supporters when she loses three nil at home to Rotherham though !!!

England manager on 05:38 - Aug 18 with 827 views | PlanetHonneywood | The telling difference between the very good jobs both SW and GS have done, is that SW seems more capable at making the types of decisions needed to win games then GS. Just look at the Men's Euro final where despite the excellent job of getting there, GS wasn't able to respond to Italy's slowly gaining control. SW has football nous, and if the men were intelligent enough and bought in, well her record speaks for itself. If/when GS decides to call it quits, for me he'd be perfect as the head of the FA. Measured, calm, and with a lot of intelligence about him, he could be the type of chairman that really develops the game and if SW was made manager of the men's side, the pair could be a very good team. As referred to above, the problem for SW would be any defeat would be attributed to her gender, and more traditional elements would likely struggle to get them heads around the idea.
