Apparently paid £4 million for him with a 20% sell on fee. He’s had some injuries in the past but whatever Brighton are doing with their scouting it’s pretty impressive

Caicedo £110m Cucurella £62m White £50m Bissouma £35m McAllister £55m Trossard £27m Burn £13m Maupay £12m Sanchez £25m Total = £389m Apart from a new stadium, training facilities, Premier League, Wembley & Europe, what has Tony Bloom done for #BHAFC? #BloomOut#SackTheBoard
I maybe in a minority but I think Brighton are going to struggle this year despite a little of “pundits” tipping them as dark horses for the top four , at some point they are going to make some dud signings and do a Southampton
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

£111m for a £4m player who made his debut in April 2022.
The fk out of here.
I hope he's shit for Liverpool and I hope all these massive sales for Brighton destablise them and they go down.

Has anyone else noticed how fans of the top 6 or 7 clubs like to brag about how much they have spent on a player and the wages they are paying them. They seem more interested in money than football.

Talking about this sort of thing with a Wednesday mate, last night. When our total turnover is 25-30m and Arsenal pay £30m for a reserve keeper. We can't afford 350k for a L1 CB.
It's just insane. The difference between mid level PL and Championship teams w/o prachute payments is distorting the whole football world. And the plastic fans of the big 4 (or 6 or 8 or 10) will lap it up.

Its the Twitter (sorry, "X") era isn't it.... you've got thousands of people (probably tens of thousands...) obsessed with how much money their teams are spending and how many players they're signing, and if they're not spending loads of money and signing loads of players then they're not doing it right.
I think they'd still be obsessed if all these teams did was transfer players between each other without actually playing any football.
Bizarre world.

This is a huge part of the reason why I don't bother reading any football content on social media.

I'd say I'm off to watch rugby instead but they are all going bust also.
On a brighter note my two season ticket cards arrived in the post. I can now confirm every second Saturday I will be sat in a state of championship depression. The Prem League can go fu(k itself.
Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!
