Watford H, Cardiff A, Ipswich H to start then Southampton A August Bank Holiday (I'm away for this so need a match reporter, will pay for your trip, get in touch).

Plymouth A sadly a Tuesday night, though late in season so might be nice. Leeds, West Brom and Stoke a rather unappetising collection of other midweek aways.

Millwall A Boxing Day, Ipswich A also in that awkward bit between Xmas and NY.

Cov A last game. Leeds last home game.

August Bank Holiday Saturday away to Southampton. Same day Spurs are away at Bournemouth. Possible fixture move.

Bournemouth is a long way from Southampton

32 miles in fact and we not exactly in terms of rivalry , history or hatred, got that much previous with Spurs.

When do tv move the games?
Quite a few saturday away games at the moment, seems like a lot fewer midweek games

There did seem to be many more midweek games last season.

I think that was due to the break for the World Cup Finals.

Noticeably bigger names in the League.

Not necessarily more quality but tends to suggest it.

We need a massive improvement just to get to the heights of 16th, I feel.

Or is it going to be one of those seasons where we are expecting nothing and we massively over achieve.

They've done the first weekend. Look at the state of that for Ipswich fans...

Yeh, presumably it's Southampton and Portsmouth who are 'paired'.

Except that both sets of fans travelling down by train from London will be on the same trains, as you have to go through Southampton to get to Bournemouth.

Donโ€™t forget last year was a one off due to World Cup and season starting earlier so midweeks piled up this is more usual. Saints away will be a good one.

Poll: Now itโ€™s slightly clearer cut who do you want as manager ?

Looks odd or maybe not that two of our longest away games are in the same week. Does not leave muc h time between both games.

I'm sure Gareth will have sorted out the squad rotation by then and we can effectively send out 2 different teams, equally as bad as each other.

"Remember to listen to me but look at her. Don't get it the wrong way round. That would be hideous."

A real bastard for Ipswich fans, but I expect they will sell out. They will definitely want every seat in the Lower Loft two weeks later.

I'm absolutely shocked that the three relegated clubs are being shown. West Brom might be able to drop Friday as their last name this season!

I see that in the new table we are in our favoured 16th position, which is a vast improvement on the end of last season. Well done to Gareth and the board. We are moving in the right direction. Roll on the 24/25 season!

Never knowingly right.

I've always wondered about that ending. Does it mean that if I made it to heaven, I would still be living in this council estate? With my wife??
Sounds like scant reward for a life well lived!!

When was the last time we played at home on boxing day? Almost happened last year, but they moved it.

2012/13 v West Brom, we lost 2-1

We haven't won on Boxing Day since 2010 when really I should have just packed up going to football as it was never gonna get better than Adel that day
