There is a You Tube video asking players 'General Knowledge'.
But the reality is that ALL of the players we are intending to keep (unfortunately there will be more than we actually want kept) should be treated like kids who haven't passed their exams and need to study the basics during the summer - otherwise they are likely to fail next season as well! (We all understand the similarity)
Could the subjects studied please include:
'Shooting',
'Hitting a target',
'Anticipating a cross',
'Getting the ball to a team mate as opposed to simply kicking it upfield'
'Ensuring that at corners and free kicks you get the ball over the head of the first defender'
'Anticipating that the ball at corners and free kicks will be kicked too hard and oversail everyone',
'Getting the keeper to distribute the Ball quicker',
Please could the players who do not understand these subjects get extra tuition (we have enough paid trainers to cover this don't we?!)
I realise we have players who don't really want to learn these subjects or like cocky kids, perhaps think they know everything ....clearly they don't!
So yes, Back to School, but learn to do what you ARE PAID TO DO AND what we the supporters ARE CONTRIBUTING TO when we turn up and watch each week!
Any other subjects they should study??
