I don't like them but I kinda admire them. Coming back from oblivion to be in the play offs . Also they lost their manager but they didn't skip a beat , unlike us who basically fell apart.

AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!

I seem to remember back in the day that when clubs were asked to vote on Luton's fate that we were one of only 2 clubs that didn't back the sanctions they faced. Perhaps someone else knows if that is right?

Never knowingly right.

I thought it was Leeds we backed in a sanctions ballot. Maybe we supported both clubs.

Anyhow, to go from The Conference to the Premier (if they do) in less than ten seasons would be incredible. Almost as good as Northampton being promoted from the 4th division in 1961 & from the second in 1965.

I think the return to the fouth was even quicker!

Best of luck to Luton deserve a chance in the big time for what they have overcome, like the way they go about things. As opposed to their main rivals Watford who are such a wxxk club.

But, as with Brentford, that then puts another club that could reasonably be considered as a smaller rival in a different stratosphere to us. If we’re going to be sh1t I at least want the others to stay down here with us.

Alternatively you could argue that they are example to QPR of what's possible to achieve on a low budget when you come correct. Seeing promotion places being monopolised by larger clubs offers little hope to smaller rivals.

If they are promoted at least we'll get to watch Sky Sports/MOTD running clips of David Pleat skipping across Maine Road in '83.

Yeah that was before 1992, so it didn't happen.

What degree of absolute bumf**king is this that we're now sucking Luton clean off?

I hate Luton.

I hope they go down with 12 points (taken only from victories against Liverpool and Chelsea in an otherwise dismal season). Well run club? F**k that. I like my clubs like I like my coffee, f**king shit.

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Agreed, it would be good to see Luton, Millwall and Coventry make the playoffs and 2 of the relegated clubs miss out!
I’d LOVE to see Watford implode next season!
