Relegation permutations 23:37 - Apr 27 with 3795 views | Monkey_Roots | Let’s iron this out. Wigan can’t catch us. Blackpool can catch us on GD, providing we don’t pick up another point, and they win their 2 remaining games. If Reading lose to Wigan, and we lose our last 2 games, the only way we can be caught is by Blackpool on GD. If Blackpool lose to Millwall and Wigan beat Reading, we’re safe. If Reading draw with Wigan, but lose to Huddersfield, and Blackpool drop points anywhere, we’re safe. If Reading beat Wigan and draw with Huddersfield, and we don’t pick up any more points, and Blackpool win both their last 2 games, Rotherham and Huddersfield pick up a point, then it’ll be down to GD for the final 2 relegation places, and we’ll be down. If we only get 1 more point, and Reading win both their games, and Huddersfield and Rotherham pick up a point, we’ll be down. If we win 1 of our last 2 games, we’re safe. If we draw both our last 2 games, we’re safe. Argghh. Jesus Christ, I’ve lost it, my head hurts… I’m a creative, and numbers are not my strong point - help me out please. Relegation permutations on 09:19 - Apr 28 with 3383 views | Superhoop83 | In the short term, if Blackpool don't win tonight then matching or bettering Reading's result tomorrow will see us safe. We can review permutations if that scenario doesn't occur. [Post edited 28 Apr 2023 9:21]

Relegation permutations on 09:25 - Apr 28 with 3355 views | PhilmyRs | Think Reading and Huddersfield will both win their next games so very much depends on what we can do at Stoke. Can very much see it coming down to the last game as we'll likely lose at Stoke which won't be nice. Very much hoping Huddersfield still need a point when they play Reading on the last day. Really need to throw the kitchen sink at Stoke on Saturday. A point would be a good result.

We would need to score about 30 goals for that to happen!

We lost at Blackpool 6-1, yet win at Burnley 2-1. Dunno how Championship games are predictable especially ones we are involved in. I hope for the 3 points at Stoke which will make us safe. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

We have momentum, belief , team unity and a squad of players who are mostly now fit and fighting for the cause. "Before the dawn comes the darkest hour of might" - THAT@S why we lost 6-1 at Balckpool, but won 2-1 at the divisional champions. And that's why we might even win both of our two last games, in spite of everything we've had to sit through this mad, typical QPR kind of a season.

Unless Huddersfield lose their two games leading up to the last day and failed to beat Reading then they will go down!

Unfortunately we wouldn’t be as we’d still only be 6 points clear of Reading with a worse GD.
Relegation permutations on 17:09 - Apr 28 with 2514 views | Juzzie | We have to go into tomorrow's game as though it's the decider. If we think "well, lose and we still have the Bristol home game..." then we've already lost it. It's in our hands, we don't have to rely on anyone else, has been since bloody new year.
Relegation permutations on 06:58 - Apr 29 with 2049 views | TGRRRSSS | Blackpool lost so now relegated. Wigan not relegated but cannot catch us. SO only 1 spot left which can relegate us now. HUddersfield v Cardiff today, so ideally we want Cardiff to win and secure their safety I guess? Trouble is Sheff United are now promoted and play them next...... Bottom line, lets win today then we're safe (just) but we aare
