Well, the money markets didn't like the mini budget.
I met Liz Truss in a hotel in Monmouth a few years ago.
She said her solution to pensioner poverty would be to feed them on Pedigree Chum.
Not only would this save a lot of money, it would give them shiny coats and a nice cold nose.

The biggest tell is that they never communicate with one another despite being two of the most aggressive and self righteous posters on here. I can’t imagine how sad someone’s life would have to be to create multiple personas on a qpr messageboard.

QBlockPete did that by accident once on the old official message board and got caught out!

He always denied he had multiple logins but he accidently replied to someone when logged in as QBP rather than his other persona (mrqpr, I think). He tried to deny it saying he was just joining in the conversation but the question was clearly directed at mrqpr and he answered precisely as you would if you were mrqpr. After that, mrqpr never appeared again. Shame it took another soul destroying amount of years before QBP would too.

It's a very sad personal story that you have but it's got zero relevance to what I have said.

All you got upset about from what I said is that State Pension is a benefit and the largest part of the governments welfare spending.

Rather than calling people names you could have gone on Google and found out for yourself it's true:

https://obr.uk/forecasts-in-depth/tax-by-tax-spend-by-spend/welfare-spending-pen

"The state pension is the largest single item of welfare spending, making up 41 per cent of the total in 2020-21"

So it is literally a fact. Simple as that. Your story there. Although very sad doesn't change that. It's not about a vendetta against old people which is a pretty ridiculous thing to say. It's nothing more than a statement of fact

So if it makes you feel better to call people a c*nt on the internet well good for you

You’re not a qpr fan you only post on this type of post, for my own mental health I’m putting you on my block list that way I don’t have to see your crrap.

I remember that, it was hilarious watching him trying to wriggle out of it. Whatever happened to that turd? The Scrote Jones also got caught doing the same thing on here late one night during his living in a bin phase. Speaking of Paladini’s poodles, is BennyBoyR’s posting on here under Benny the ball or is the name and same avatar just an unfortunate coincidence?

Multiple account users is irritating as fck but Clive has decided to let them back in so what can you do.

As for Kwarteng, this would have been top news a few years ago, say pre Cameron. People just shrug their shoulders now as is the state of it. I miss the days when eating a bacon sandwich in a weird way cost you government.

Political discourse is in it’s darkest state in living memory in my opinion. I’m starting to become a bit anarchist in my old age.

Fck government. I’m starting to admire those people who glue themselves to the road. At least they are doing something outside of ranting on Social Media.

Sorry to hear about your dad Rob,I experienced similar woes a few years back.
It has to be said that the expenditure on Kissinger's "Useless Eaters " has diminished significantly after the Pandemic slaughter - maybe we should cynically add the disabled to the Sakura economy drainage list ?I have looked after my handicapped QPR loving brother for the last 30 years - he's one of the most long lived Spina Bifida sufferers in the country(70 last week)and determined to be the longest(Vlad permitting).Maybe I should tell him "Sorry mate, you're worth shit according to a particularly nasty "contributor" on R's most favourite messageboard, now stop being a drain on the public purse and die.Urrrs."
[Post edited 14 Oct 2022 9:40]

Like Loftboy you are arguing with a made up enemy. You are talking absolute garbage. I haven’t said anything about we shouldn’t support anyone. Said nothing at all about disabled people so you are the nasty one with your smears

My point is we are now as a nation broke. The size of the debt and the soaring borrowing costs are a reflection of that

You like the rest of the moaners haven’t countered a single point I have raised. You’ve just talked about sad stories unconnected to what I have said and made unjustified and unsubstantiated smears against me as you haven’t got anything constructive to say

Just because you are from a Western economy doesn’t mean you have an automatic right for the government to just give out free money whenever. It’s because you need a functioning economy and debt levels within reason to make the fiat system work. Ours is broken and just because until now we’ve got away with it by kicking the Can down the road. Well now we’ve run out of road and reality is coming..

We shut our economy down. Borrowed to much and their will be consequences. That free money always had to be paid for and now it is through inflation and higher interest rates

The disaster we are in the early stages of I like many others saw coming. It makes you feel better to suggest it’s out of callousness. But that’s nothing more than ignorance on your part to say that. It’s actual the complete opposite. I wish we acted with more restraint and with a more pragmatic approach to things like energy policy so that we could continue to support those in society who need it most. It angers me that the selfishness until this point is going to lead to far worse problems for the people most in need then you otherwise have if you view it from that angle then you will see my side of things. It’s obviously not out of callousness as you suggest

But because of arrogant attitudes like your own we have now blown our beans. We either must now head to severe austerity in the coming years. Or as i guess we just keep printing more money and get severe inflation as the currency devalues. That will create bigger problems for our countries poorest than you have ever seen in your lifetime

I understand that your intentions are positive. I am just pointing out that actually it’s going to cause a bigger mess and far more pain in the long run.

I have to make numerous and long posts on these threads because I have slurs against me because it’s the cognitive dissonance way of dealing with it. So I need to explain myself as you misunderstand my point and abuse me instead. You can’t argue back against the facts raised and so lower yourself to bullying, abusive and unjustified smears

As for Loftboys comments I would say I have more loyalty points than 95% of posters on here. I leave the game with family and friends normally via the pub as I will this Saturday and discuss with them more than posting on here. So again just talking rubbish on his part there as he doesn’t like the facts I have raised but can’t dispute them

Tories will get spanked and Starmer’s corrupt opposition will get in by default with a ultra low turnout, probably in coalition with the Lib Dems in a minority government.

The media will give them a honeymoon, they’ll invade a couple of countries and eroded the welfare state, and we’ll be back to hating them again in five years like we did with Blair.

Meanwhile, some smarmy Cameron type will be in charge of the tories and we’ll all swallow the line that they’ve changed. Media will back them again and the process starts again.

Ad infinitum.

Totally agree.

That whole QPBlockPete was as funny as it was sad. I remember picking up that particular thread and just laughing at the poor sod. What a total melt. This site's block function is becoming an increasing must I feel.

Clearly this site as much as this thread, seems to have attracted individuals posting under multiple nom de plumes. There is something inherently sad about this: from individuals clearly operating with 'issues' or, bots operating from 'outside' sources seeking to destroy debate, often for nefarious, self-centered reasons.

The fact is: organised (peaceful) dissent and dissenters are derailed, derided and the whole thing has become arguably more weaponised as a result. Just what the establishment wants!

When I hear Boris trying to pit workers against the railway workers or Lizard seeking to undermine Starmer on the grounds of 'his union friends', its not so much the fact that the most ignorant leader has been succeeded by the thickest PM ever that boils my urine, it is the fact that s/he do so from positions where their own 'friends' are a ridiculously small number of backers motivated by their own personal gain. Backers I believe, who include foreigners who are actually steering government policy to the detriment of the UK and for their enrichment!

Living as I now do in a country where they are not afraid to take to the streets, you wish the British were not so bloody docile and prepared to take it up the wazoo all the time. When you look at what the people of Myanmar and Iran are currently doing, I do wonder what it would take for Brits to get similarly motivated to get off their butts and take a stand...beyond diligently queuing for many hours of course!

The QBlockPete thing was a bit before my time as a forum user but at least he had a QPR agenda of pushing Paliadini’ rot.

This mob just want to start a race war and sell Bitcoin.

The irony of Truss portraying Starmer as a Union puppet is hilarious to anyone who engages with the Labour Party at any level. He has treated them and the Enough Is Enough campaign like a turd wrapped in a summons.

I don’t know where you live mate but it sounds fun.

Would hardly call 60K a small wage (that’s where the cap starts)
As I said I sat holding my 87 year old dads hand as he passed away during lockdown, he left school at 14 and worked until he was 70, he bought his house and never had a debt other than mortgages,
We are currently selling the house he worked hard for to fund my mums care, she’s now 88 had a fall and broke her neck, defied the medics and survived the op to bolt her head back on, we are being billed £7500 per month for her care home, the funds will last 4 years, how is that fair when someone who spent their life never saving didn’t buy their house would get the same care for free.
You have a nasty vendetta against pensioners , do you suggest euthanasia or just let them all starve.
As is said you are a cûnt and I stand by that.
[Post edited 13 Oct 2022 20:00]

I feel your pain similar happened to my Grandma

IMO care should be capped to council rental rates. The owners of these "homes" are paying the staff minimum wage whilst reaping massive profits, £7500 a month is a disgrace.
