Stoke producing lots of niggly fouls.
Some are trying to get Dunne - on an early yellow card - sent off claiming he's fouling them when actually they are fouling him or play-acting.
Although we have plenty in midfield we're getting very little possession.
So far not a great match but Stoke more decisive.

To be fair, we do not have the personnel for the formation. We don't have any wingbacks, any wingers, or any speed up front. There is literally no channel to take the ball forward. The windy conditions mean that route one football isn't going to work. Also, having no speed or skill up front means that there wouldn't be anyone on the end, anyhow. |  |

Sounds like another big turn around of players during the summer then. Hope our recruitment is better this time...especially from an attacking perspective. Not having much to spend, doesn't mean you can't find players to play a preferred system.Of course I am talking about Warburton's system if he stays - a new manager may have a different one. | | | |
