Another good save by Mahoney.

Field a clear MOTM, but MM's not far behind.

Gray certainly likes to complain a lot. Some of his complaints are valid, but he should stop showing up his teammates.

We'll always have Paris.

Arse! Didn't even get a few more minutes to have another go.

Never knowingly right.

I can't remember a QPR side fall off a cliff from such a height as this. Anyone?

At least it feels like they fought today. Certainly felt like they played with more heart than recently.

Never knowingly right.

FT REPORT
Preston 2 QPR 1
This is hard to take.
We're like a boxer on the ropes.
Five successive defeats.
It’s like taking a heavy beating - over the last 9 weeks - in the closing rounds of the season.
But from this match - against not the greatest of sides - there was definitely some spirit which stopped us dropping to the floor and being counted out.
From the depths of horror we were a little better — couldn’t be much worse.
The loss of form, players injured and again unbelievable - yet another keeper injured — this time Westwood in the warm-up — makes you want the season to finish ASAP.
In comes 20 year old Murphy Mahoney — No.6 in the Rangers keeping pecking order.
And he did ok — three useful saves but little chance of stopping their two goals either side of half time. He kept the score respectable.
And the QPR fans gave him huge support.
Gray’s penalty - seconds before the end - was a consolation.
Thank goodness we at least scored!
We were better in this game probably because there was some pace.
Because of injuries Warbs picked a side with an average age of just 24.
Jojo 31 and Odubajo 28 were our oldest players starting the game and then Dykes 26 before he was replaced by Charlie midway through the second half.
There was energy before HT — then we faded most likely through disappointment and confidence clearly low.
Yes we had some chances — Chair and Dozzell — missing with their final shots and and we couldn’t finish inside the box after HT as the ball fizzed around like a ping-pong ball.
Five more matches and it’s sufferance all the way.
Hopefully Warbs will experiment in the remaining games.
By having such a young team there was a bit more pace which made us competitive.
That’s what we’ve all been saying.
Let’s prepare for next season with a bit of experimentation.

Nope. Unfathomable really . We just seem to sign too many duds TBH.

I'm not sure that they haven't been trying during this awful run - it's the quality that has dropped if a cliff.
