Fulham Match Thread. 20:59 - Apr 1 with 27159 viewsDiscodroids

I haven't started a match thread since Nikita Khrushchev shot a CCCP Space monkey into the kuiper belt to assemble antenna at Salyut Laboratories.

However, Word has reached me  here in Leigh on Sea, That the Fulham Hooligan element  are on full manoeuvres for tomorrow.

QPR Fans be warned, Their Hooligans will be tooled up in  cat skin dueling gloves dipped in shattered resin with  grandfather Pendulum Clock weights dropped down the leg of one's 72 button fly buckskin pantaloons

Also, Beware of Steel fish hooks sewn into their smoking Jacket lapels by bespoke Jermyn Street tailors. The regulation timber snuff boxes of the Fulham Hooligan, have been replaced for tomorows game with ones constructed from lingnum vitae, a hardy flush grain that will prove to be a redoubtable piece of kit upon one's Cranium.

Be aware of the canny sharpening of their briar churchwarden pipes to a keen edge That would take one's fackin' eye out.

They  have also recruited extra muscle from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa legion , loyal by their blood oath to the mustard corduroy trouser. The no good slags secrete  Maris pipers studded with razor blades  in their cumberbands .

Finally,  be on the ready eye for fulham hooligans in Stove pipe hats,  as they have  leaded piano legs in them which could split one's cannister open leaving one down the A&E Saturday night with the skagheads, Brasses and meat rack nonces without so much as an old fashioned in ones hip flask.

3-1 to the glory superhoops.

I have no idea what's handball and what isn't anymore.

I looked it up on pornhub. It didn't look like fun.

Penalty was dreadful decision. Fulham players bullied the ref into giving that.

Well despite the score line , a much much better performance by QPR. But to be honest we have posed virtually zero danger in the opposition box and made no real goal scoring chances .

Despite the improved team performance I really can’t see how we are going to score a goal from open play again this season

Fulham always in the ref's ear. We're too placid. So then Wallace gets booked for dissent. WTAF

that pissed me off something chronic. we have had groups of them screaming at the ref.

The power of Parachute Payments. Nothing more, nothing less. The whole thing is an utterly predictable farce.

Agree with the sentiment and the stark reality of "modern football" - but if we were Fulham we wouldn't be complaining. At least it should be a long time before we have to play them again. We are a lot poorer than some realise. Can't see another win this season - and next season is already starting to feel ominous.

The league/FA could stop that in a heartbeat, but they won't. TV likes the "controversy."

Fulham are Premier League and we are a natural midtable Championship team, so the scoreline is as expected.

Game over and taken to reading the thread. The penalty was harsh no doubt but they are given and I don't think it made any difference, the score line does reflect Fulham's dominance.
Just asked my nephew and we have not had a shot on goal this half and as I said at half time Fulham look as though they are cruising it.
Totally agree with a lot on here the whole dynamics of football as changed and think it will take a monumental shift in our fortunes to be where Fulham are.
God that is depressing lol................still while I can still move I guess I will be coming down here............onwards and not sure if it's upwards

Long time? Sorry, I'd put money on them coming straight down. Classic yo-yo team same as Norwich, too good for the Championship because of the parachute payments, nowhere near good enough for the Premier League. Mitrovic will revert to type next season, same as when he's been at that level before.

They didn't have to get out of 3rd gear. After the debacle against Posh... effort was the least our lot could do. Think Warburton is toast at the end of the season personality.

I don't believe in violence as a rule but Warbs should have decked Gavin Ward there. The least that little tosspot deserves.

What chance have we got when our CAPTAIN is applauding the oppo fans when he’s walking off the pitch in a derby. Boils my piss.

Really sad. We were all desperate for Austin and Johansen to sign up last Summer. And now they seem to be passengers in the team. Both look to have fitness or long-term injury problems.

100% this
Embarrassing from some QPR fans that are grateful we are on the same pitch as Fulham
Not one shot on goal second half , the pidgins by the six yard box couldn’t believe their luck again

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Well we will see who is right. The way we are playing, we could be heading into Div1 this time next year - so wouldn't matter if they drop.

Disappointing, especially in the second half, but the first half I thought we were decent. Hoping that we can bring that first half performance out on Tuesday.

Thomas looked good, Sanderson (especially in the second half) definitely justified his inclusion, Westwood made some good saves too.

The less said about the refereeing the better.

Also, feel like it's worth mentioning that even when they turned up the heat in the second half we didn't let them have any clear chances

A clue - that wasn't.

Killed the game completely. At 1-0 we always would have had a chance...

Can we go out yet?

I remember when res always used to wear black. Gavin Ward should have gone back to that strip, given the number of questionable ( at best) decisions went their way.

I think we missing a real nasty player in this side. Someone like an Alan McDonald or Dave Webb who'd rough the opposition up a bit. We look to soft to me,
