QPR vs PETERBOROUGH....MATCH THREAD. on 14:22 - Mar 20 by stainrods_elbow | Sinton absolutely tying himself up in knots on comms, first telling us he doesn't 'buy league positions' and anyone can lose to anyone, having insisted/agreed several times Peterboro are bottom for a reason. Making himself look as foolish and embarrassing as our team this 2nd half. I need a long, long, drink. [Post edited 20 Mar 2022 14:24]

Someone needs to step in and stop that because it’s getting out of hand. Sadly he couldn’t add the month of Sundays we’d have needed to have even created a decent chance. QPR vs PETERBOROUGH....MATCH THREAD. on 14:32 - Mar 20 with 1909 views | TopCat34 | At this rate I wouldn't be offering Warbs a new contract. He has totally lost it the last few weeks, random team selections and substitutions, absolutely no rhythm to our play. Defending has been a problem for years and he clearly doesn't have a solution for it - we've actually seen defenders getting worse the more they play; Dickie, Sanderson, Albert. We almost look embarassed to be winning and look more comfortable when we're losing at the moment. January was a poor window and didn't feed any confidence into the team, manager or fans. Yes, we can keep banging on about would we rather be in this position or mid table and that's great but at some point you have to question why the form and performances have gone off a cliff. Can still turn it around, but not really seen anything from the boys or manager in the last few months that suggests we will. Weekend ruined [Post edited 20 Mar 2022 14:33]

QPR vs PETERBOROUGH....MATCH THREAD. on 14:33 - Mar 20 with 1882 views | ed_83 | I think we'd be mad to get rid of Warburton right now. We were in a relegation dogfight when he arrived, and we've got better season on season with him, even as we've had to cut the wage bill and sell our best players. The last two months have been dire but the fact we've been competing at this end of the table on a fraction of our competitors' wage bills still represents progress. And who else would we replace him with? If Wilder was available then maybe there'd be an argument to be had, but beyond that I can't think of a single person who's available, would come to us and who would improve us. The last manager to do that for us was Warnock. We need to be very, very careful what we wish for. That said, the last couple of months haven't just been a blip - there's something fundamentally not quite right with this squad. Our senior players have let us down badly, our attitude and discipline has been wrong, we've been too quiet and passive on the pitch, we've had too many players lose form and fitness at once for it to be a coincidence. If we were to start next season with the same mentality and performance level that we've shown in the last two months, then I don't see how Warburton could stay. And if that's the case, then maybe it would make more sense to replace him in the summer. I think at this point we have to accept that the playoffs are gone, but the attitude and quality we bring to the remaining games this season will be critical in setting the foundation for next season.

Unless your happy to win a few , lose a few and plod along , we have been relegation fodder and auto promotion in the last 2 seasons ? Yes it’s on a shoe string but from where we were a couple of months ago to now must be seen as failure 😞

QPR vs PETERBOROUGH....MATCH THREAD. on 14:39 - Mar 20 with 1578 views | Benny_the_Ball | When Posh went 1 nil down you didn't see their heads drop, despite sitting rock bottom of the league. Conversely QPR imploded after the equaliser, as they did late on at Forest and in the home tie with Cardiff. The confidence and fight that got QPR as high as 3rd in the table has evaporated and it's so difficult to put your finger on any one reason why. For me, something is clearly amiss behind the scenes.

The QPR team of October/November/December could well be able to 'turn it around' The team (and manager) now. Not a hope. Since Christmas every player has deteriorated , except Gray who has done the opposite. Todays performance, and to be honest most of the past 2 months, were from a team that has lost its will to win. Something or somethings very wrong must have happened after Christmas and surely must still be going on. How else can a team switch almost overnight from solid promotion form to solid relegation form? Thats no blip. Thats no bad day at the office. If Warbs cant arrest this spiral downwards - and in 10 matches he hasnt, then serious questions need to be asked
QPR vs PETERBOROUGH....MATCH THREAD. on 14:39 - Mar 20 with 1567 views | stainrods_elbow | That 2nd half was gutless, guileless and gormless, almost as if the team wanted only to do a proper hatchet job on our poxy playoff pretensions. We've embarrassed ourselves, there's no two ways about it, and Warburton should be man enough to come out and say so on camera, but won't. The win at Luton was fortuitous, and I simply can't see anything better than a slide down the table to 10th or worse right now. Fulham could score eight on this showing! We've imploded to the footballing equivalent of a black hole. Can anyone make any sane sense of what we saw today? I know I can't.
