Albert our best player. We’re definitely losing the midfield battle. Doubt Warbs will go just one up front though.

Thought we were well on top last 15 minutes. No need for any changes just yet.

We're a bit overrun in midfield but Field is having a good game nonetheless. Maybe some HT Warburton tweaks will solve this problem.

For me, we really played our way back into the half there in the last 15 minutes or so and easily could have made it 0-2 via Albert (who's been excellent) or Wallace, who really should have scored as he steamed in. Agree that Warbs persisting with Dykes and Gray up front, despite the latter's goal, isn't working - the ball's just not sticking up top - and we need an extra body in midfield to help us both defensively and offensively (we're missing SJ, clearly), where we've improved as the game's gone on and Dozzell is blowing hot and cold, though Field has impressed me. Willock has been a class act and cut above throughout - he's Prem League, no question - and if anything seems to be flourishing in Chair's absence.

The more the game's gone on, the more I've been impressed by our ball retention and approach play, and the less by Cov, which I hope bodes well. Will be interesting to see if Warbs tweaks the formation/personnel in the 2nd half, but I feel that a second goal for us will win it.

Poll: How many points will we take from our next 3 games (S'land H, M'bro H, Leeds A)?

6 goals already in the Reading - Huddersfield match.

A half of two halves eh - we were getting overrun first 30 but still went ahead, much better last 15 where we kept the ball well and turned them out.

Bit of luck and a lot of stout defending kept us in it. Dunne stood out one again

Missing Johansen I think

Thomas Frank got hold of the mic has he?

That would be cruel and unusual punishment haha. The players were taken off for 20 minutes because of safety issues. Its protocol when an unidentified drone is hovering.Sign of the times sadly. Its all clear

Was there some tactical change after the half hour? Because we looked much more comfortable from then on.

Could be 2 2 already

Warbs may want to bring on the Dominator to lock down midfield. Dzz and Fields are doing well but both are a little lightweight

Cov have been good in many parts. We scored against run of play but came back in last 10.
Field and Dunne have been excellent. Dozzell and Gray, apart from the goal, anonymous. Dykes has worked hard to try and keep us moving.

Cracking finish from the corner.

But Cov started well and were on top again.

He won't strike one better in his whole career.
Unstoppable.

Fantastic strike no question but QPR should've been alive to that. Coventry tried a similar corner routine moments earlier.

Brave man to go with Gray as a lone striker. If we’re going to take off a centre forward I’d say Gray would be the one to make way. Dykes is a better option for holding up the ball etc.

Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up. Cracking strike on the half volley straight into top corner. He'll not hit a ball cleaner in his life

Take nothing away from the strike but as I said earlier Coventry tried the same routine moments earlier from the other side. Corner to someone on the edge of the box; QPR really should've been alive to that.
