I thought I read the same? The growing season for grass (at least on the construction projects I've been on) doesn't usually start until March, so even with lamps that seems a very tight programme.

btw: I had to edit my post to take out your poster name as I was getting an 'unacceptable language' message! Odd!

I've had this problem before Brian its because the 5th to 8th letters spell an apparently very rude word! I only live there.I'm thinking of complaining to the council.

I must be getting old. I didn't even spot that.

Soon, kids will say rude words to me and snigger behind their hands as I shuffle off unknowingly to get them sweets for Bob-a-Job.

The club said Heston would open during the 2022/23 season but be fully open for the 2023/24 season https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/qpr-bond-181021/

That's the 1970's Retro Pitch.

It'll come in handy for anyone learning to replicate Michael Robinson's goal v Them in the Milk Cup

Once again, I'd like to say a huge 'Thank You' to the Warren Farm people.

The Concord club holds many memories for me. Played a lot of games there, (scored a few) managed a team, refereed there and played tennis as well. Also spent time there on corporate events and socialising. Although I had moved as I have aged and hadn't been for many years, it seems strange that my old employer doesn't have a sports club anymore.

However, I am delighted that it is now owned by my club and I retain a link with being a fan and having my bond.

Not the thread about the large spectacled shaven headed chef I thought it was going to be.

Shows our age difference in that I was thinking why didn't Charlton buy it.

IKEA and ALDI need new sites. The club should sell the Warrenfarm.

After all, all of the legal work has been done so, easy win for the IKEA lawyers who must be masters at this sort of thing by now.

zzzzzzzzzz
