Apart from allowing the Forest players to surround him on multiple occasions without taking any action at all.

Clutching at straws there, they ALL allow that in the top 4 leagues! Its wrong but then there are so are many other 'wrong' things they allow, even I'm bored with listing them!

Not at all. I thought it was particularly bad on Friday, and very weak refereeing - I counted at least 6 occasions where at least 3 players surrounded him - that's unacceptable and whatever you might say, you don't see that every week (and almost never from us). It's a joke that we're constantly being preached to about being respectful to refs, but nothing is ever done about it. He's got cards - use them. Also failed to book Colback for a fairly terrible tackle on Dickie. He wasn't terrible, but a weak ref.

Honestly don't remember the Colback one and we'll have to agree to disagree on the surrounding the ref - have you ever seen a free kick near the penalty area where players do NOT 'surround' the ref?
Wednesday's referee on 18:04 - Nov 3 with 2559 views | R_from_afar | Hmm, Norf has given him seven out of ten for the last two Rangers matches he has reffed. Surely he can't turn in three decent performances in a row? Yours faithfully, Nervous of Bracknell

He was and only 4 minutes added on was a touch. Should have been 6 in my opinion.

Nothing really big to call but I'd agree. Forgot he was there until he blew the whistle 18 times to get Rob Dickie back for his booking (to be fair Dickie was acting the mickey).
Wednesday's referee on 22:54 - Nov 3 with 2274 views | DWQPR | Didn’t even notice him in the first half. Came out in the second and for those first five minutes I thought he had taken his mad pills. Always remember him warmly for that Preston match. What he does do well is make shît decisions to both sides leaving everyone non-plussed. Whereas that Luton supporting, oxygen thieving little shïte Stroud just makes you want to pummel him to death with a rusty sledgehammer

I’d argue you can’t do a lot about the winning team time-wasting when there’s enough time for a kettle to boil every time the team chasing the game have a throw.

Totally agree with this. This ‘toweling the ball’ before any long throw routine needs getting rid of and quick. Alan Parry, who did an OK job of commentating on the ZX Spectrum style feed on the red button on Sky, quite surprised me as he was very quick to point out that whilst the Cardiff fans were moaning about us, the long throws had taken minutes off the game. He - rightly - pointed out that the ref has the tools to add time on whenever time is being wasted but as I’m sure Clive would point out that doesn’t happen very often…
Wednesday's referee on 09:52 - Nov 4 with 1917 views | stoweboy | Thought the ref had a very good game last night , about the best performance we have had, only thought he did not add enough injury time at the end of the 2nd half , unsurprisingly i did not mind

He didn't add any on for all their long long long.....yawn, throw in routines either, so ok really.
Wednesday's referee on 10:11 - Nov 4 with 1879 views | terryb | I thought that he repeatedly tried to speed up their taking of throw ins & then thought "bugger it, if they can't be arsed I won't add on more time than the minimum I can get away with".

Had they equalised he hopefully would add time for the ball pampering. Chuckles did us proud

Wednesday's referee on 11:56 - Nov 4 with 1757 views | PinnerPaul | I thought 4 was a bit light - I went 5. Would have issued a caution for the foul on Chair and he should have had a word with Moore for 'escorting' Ilias off the pitch - you can't allow that to go without at least having a word with him.
