Out of the 20 league games we will have played by the Derby game,8 will have been live on sky tv.When is it considered too much?Probably never in Sky’s eyes.

...and there's a run from Fulham where they're showing 5 of our 6 weekend games, thankfully leaving Posh alone

It makes the £140 for QPR+ considerably worse value. Almost better off paying £10 for non-TV games.

despite being able to see the place on a good day, ferry times meant blackpool was going to be 2 days b&b for me - not now!

by the time of the Derby game they will probably have been deducted more points, may have lost players if the admins cannot pay them and will be divisional whipping boys. Monday night on sky. Fills me with existential dread.

The problem is that Sky like to feature clubs that they can sell those matches around the world. Without Leeds, Villa or Newcastle in the division, I'm fairly sure that we are one of the most marketable teams (certainly in the top five).

Fulham, West Brom, Derby & Forest being the others.

We wouldn't have as many games moved from 3.00 Saturday if we were in the premier, though the Monday night game could feature us.

Added to that, we’ve been playing very well. We score in every game, invariably we concede too, come from behind, score/concede late.

We’re a good bet for an entertaining game at the moment.

With teams in Europe you tend to get quite a few games on Sundays in the Prem although Brentford have been quite lucky so far with mostly Saturday games.

I will be there for most of them. The only only I can’t make is direby. It’s still wrong that our club seems to suffer more disruption from sky than even the top two teams in the league. And we seem to have done so for the last couple of seasons too. There are 24 teams in this division and not just 2 or 3.Fair enough in March and April to concentrate on the vital games, but we’re only in October.
Spread the disruption around more is all most of us are saying.

I have Sky and watch a few games - my daughter loves watching football and watches as many games as she can.

A Rangers home game is a 450 mile round trip for me and with other commitments, I only get to a couple of home games a year and about 6 away games, so I do like to be able to watch our games on tv.

However, Sky do take the p1ss with the way they move games and I'd rather see less games on tv and keep as many as possible in the traditional 3pm Saturday slot. Derby away was a game I was looking to go to - away on a Saturday was fine, Monday night, can't get there in time.

Fair points and of course I'm NOT in the "If you don't live within spitting distance of the ground, you're not a fan" camp, but surely Sky picking us is a direct consequence of how well we are playing - and we all want that don't we?

Still think Sky should limit the number of times they show the same team in a month - no-one should be on 3 times in a month. It's not fair on the club's supporters who want to attend the games.

My biggest gripe is that it seems we feature away more than at home for live games which means we get less money as a club when we could do with the extra money as the home side.

They didn’t seem to care whether we were playing well in past seasons where we’ve been on more times than other teams in our division.Apart from Leeds of course.
All 4 games against Fulham and Brentford are normally on live, plus wba when they’re in our division.I’m sure somebody will have the figures, but two years ago we went from October to December with only 1 Saturday home game, and it’s the same this year. Why would anybody think Blackpool v QPR was worth showing on a Saturday night?

despite our location i am not sure we are that attractive a ground for the broadcasters, access and camera location issues etc

of course we might be a more tempting proposition for home evening games if we stuck a few more bulbs in the floodlights!

Indeed.

The OB companies Sky, ITV, BBC use come from all over now.

The days of trundling round the corner from White City are long gone.
