Here’s a thought. We are currently losing the equivalent of a plane crash every day in this country to covid. If that was the case and a plane was crashing every day, would the anti vaxxers and Covid deniers think twice about flying and be demanding that the Government take serious action to deal with the situation? This isn’t cancer we are talking about. This is something that can be avoided and the spread mitigated by taking appropriate precautions. |

The vaccine is not 100% effective, therefore some vaccinated people will still die; however this is a small percentage of the total number.
The percentage of unvaccinated people dying is much much higher.
Nevertheless, there are vastly more vaccinated people than unvaccinated people, so the absolute number of vaccinated people dying is higher than the absolute number of unvaccinated people dying.
The key point, is that if there were vastly more unvaccinated people than vaccinated people, as you would prefer was the case, the absolute number of people dying would be through the roof.
