According to my Fulham mates, we are only borrowing Stefan if Fulham get relegated as they really rate him as a championship player and you can see why!
Better cheer on Fulham then
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Never in a million years did I think we would get a result at their place Not of fan of Warburton but credit for changing the team, Austin playing off chair & Willock is probably our best attacking option now I hope Stefan J becomes permanent what a player he is, a midfielder who can tackle and pass a rare commodity in today’s football
A hallmark of previous QPR teams is to slip into vast losing streaks after a defeat.
What a reaction from Barnsley. As PP has said, he’s handled these issues superbly and the club has brought in the right players, yet it also feels like we haven’t completely written off Dyke or Bonne as potential for future.
Above all else, it looks like patience and pragmatism is proper paying off. Bear in mind Nigel Pearson was in charge of that team today.

Very rare you can say that about a match involving the R's.
Solid performance in all areas of the pitch - Willock, Field and De Wijjs given their chances all improved the team shape and performance.
Liking that starting eleven.
Willock and Chair roaming behind Charlie with midfield of Johansen and Field - yes please - that clicked..
But yes they were poor and three injuries in the first half totally caused them to end up stopping playing..
As much as Barnsley looked a great team and too good for us - Bristol City looked extremely poor and totally without purpose and we were in complete control.
As said before one performance can be undone by a poor performance in the next game so lets see midweek that we can keep this kind of performance and result going forwards again
But yes said previously in this thread thought that starting eleven looked silky !!!!!

FT REPORT A comfortable 2-0 win. We largely dominated the match. There was a good balance to the team with loanees de Wijs on his debut and Field both impressive before being subbed. It's difficult to rate this QPR performance. Some slick passing but how good were we or how bad were B.City after they made 3 subs in the first half? I suppose a little disappointing that we didn't score more. But that's being greedy. But to win away after our run of just 1 point from the last 9 and a clean sheet - it seems we're back on that brilliant run of 6 wins from 7. Up we go to our coveted spot of 16th. And this with 3 consecutive home matches to come against Wycombe on Tuesday, then Huddersfield and MIllwall over the next 11 days. Good team performance and Warbs and all 16 that played all very well done.
Just to point out, regarding the "bad Bristol City" comment, they are above us in the league and were playing at home. Just sayin
Well done Rangers - did not see that coming and would have been happy with a point.
NOW the test. Find a way past Wild Thing, and the colossus that is his Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday and we become a top-half Championship football team (assuming Blackburn don;t beat Swansea).
All joking aside, that is a prize worth striving for - it should mean something. COYRS!!!!

Cracking win, after two poor performances. Warburton deserves a lot of credit for the changes made today. Saturday evenings don't get any better after an away win like that!!

eh, two losses yes, but only one poor performance really.
However bad BC were you still have to do the business which we did quite comfortably, this after a poor mid-week result which must have knocked our confidence. We responded excellently at a ground where we have a poor record. Absolutely well done.

As good as we've been? Should have been more. Played lovely football.
That looked our best team on paper to start with, and it really played that way too. The addition of talented technicians like Field and Willock really pushed us over the top.
Very pleased.

Yeah agreed. Credit for Warbs for changing things around....our attacking line up looked the best combo yet. More of that please Mr W. Cracking result away from home after a couple of dismal results. And there was I dreading another run of 6 losses on the bounce! Very happy R tonight. COYRs!!!

Agreed Dylan that they are above us in the league. But they've now lost 9 of their last 11 matches. We've now won 7 and drawn 1 of our last 11. So that's why I was questioning - open for debate - how good were we or were they bad? My opinion - I think it was an upgrade with those changes de Wijs, Field and Willock. At the end of the day we won - and away from home and a clean sheet - and that's the main thing.

Last year after 33 games (as now) we were also 16th but this year we are a point better off. 22 points from our last 11. 21 from our first 22. Those January loan signings have been gold dust!
