Some players i really despise and very near the top of the list is Pontus Jansen. He always niggles, fouls, mouths off and in his despicable way does his best to get other players sent off etc.. Its not the fact that he does it , its the sheer cheek in the way he does it. Cant stand him.
Even in this seasons game he was up to his old tricks and I think he came on as a sub and was at it straight away. He's up there with David Speedie

Brentford along with Norwich are the best this league has yet apart from one moment of switching off we've absolutely matched them, they do look that little bit sharper and have an edge to their pay but they haven't done us over in that half. How do we manage that with 7,8 or 9 men? Obviously we don't, this is becoming a good unit of 11 decent players competing with the top end teams, it nay well be that Brentford run away with the second half but I can't believe anyone can say we've been schooled by them in that half. Well played so far and if we can get Ilias and Charlie on the ball a little more nearer the box we're in this game

We’ve been second best in most areas so far and the Hounslow lot haven’t really hit top gear yet. Dykes and Austin have both been poor but service from wide has been low quality. Would like to see Uncle or Willock on sooner rather than later to try to provide something different....

I think we need make two changes at half time. I would bring on Willock and Adomah and I would bring off Dykes and not sure if I would take off Kane or Wallace...
To me both Kane and Ball are one mistimed challenge from a red so probably if little change further on, I would give Field a go on for Ball but maybe Bettache as I think he has looked promising so far.
Currently that Barbet shot alone - we look a long way of creating danger and it looks a comfortable 2 nil win for Brentford..
Hope I am wrong but yes would make changes now myself but it will probably be left to the 70th minute to bring on first sub by which time we could well have conceded again.
We definitely need something different as Brentford comfortably in control as things stand !!!!

Agree with your positive analysis, but I would add that if we can add greater work-rate and intensity (which should be a given) we have a chance. In that 45 neither were good enough.

It's time for Kakay to take over the right back spot from Kane. Most important he's quick, can cross the ball, and he can track back well. Yes he's still a bit raw but now's the time in upcoming matches.

That was a bad half.
No aggression, no push, no real belief.
But signs of life late on. Needs to be a good positive chat at half-time, restore belief.
I think same for both teams Brian? We need to make sure they don't come out of the blocks flying and we get left on our heels, opposite would be ideal and think we would create uncertainty in them as not overly impressed. Game is there to make something of it for ourselves, we need to improve though, I'm defending the team but it has to be better to get something now

Think we have to realistic here and admit that you don't go 20 odd games and one defeat and not be a good team They don't even look out of 2nd gear to be honest They have so many better players than us all over the field that being behind is not a surprise Hate the Bawstards
