'Er indoors pissed off this morning to New York for her mates 5oth birthday , thus I have 7 days of hedonistic euphoria and unknown pleasures laid before me .
Unchained from the Jonathon E rollerball grip of my missus, I fully expect to end up in a skip with Winston Sillcot and a crack pipe by the end of the week.
this will also be the first Easter in 12 years that i won't have the chigwell mother in law over for sunday Easter lunch to talk about her piles , lupins & old flo next door who has typhus, consumption and can't chew her Oakhouse Lasagne without help from a potato ricer.

Live music, it’s everywhere, give it a go. I have a pact with my daughter post Covid to go out together every two months…usually classical (Nielsen’s 4th at the RFH next month, seats at all prices). Last Saturday though, on the strength of one playlist track, instead of gnashing my teeth over the latest away fiasco I was at the Roundhouse enjoying Blackberry Smoke. Me neither, but it was epic! I went to a “pitchblack playback” of a Steven Wilson spatial mix of XTC’s The Big Express album tonight. Sat on a bean bag, blindfolded and immersed in the sound of industrial Swindon.

And then upturned Steven Wilson , Dave Gregory and Pete Phipps ( drummer for that album) duck a f uck.
