What type of player is he?

The coaching staff spoke very highly earlier in the season and from memory the Manager wasn't sure whether to secure him a loan or keep him involved with the first team - the latter winning over. He’s made a lot of squads recently but not seen any action. Just wondered whether he could add some much needed energy to that slow midfield of ours alongside a Ball and Carroll possibly?

If he’s another number 10 then ignore but sure I read he likes to break up play a bit and is a tidy midfielder so could add something. Even it’s just some youthful enthusiasm, given there was none of that at the weekend it would be a welcome addition. Same could probably said of the lad up front we bought from Southend as he seems keen to impress although middle of the park seems more of a problem to me.

Can you remember when Holloway threw in Ryan Manning at a young age for his first game, what an impact he had. It wouldnt hurt would it. If Geoff and the likes are 'tired' then throw some fresh legs in. Look at how well Kakay & Nico have adapted and very much held their own. Its worth a shout. You may say but its Millwall, they are too physical, they too are out of form (up step QPR to get them back in form) but there are no easy games in this League. Rotherham, Barnsley, Wycombe, Luton, they all may lack a bit of flair but game after game they seem to go again and leave everything onthe pitch win lose or draw. I didnt see that Huddersfield and it worrys me.

He is more of an attacking midfield player from the brief glimpses I have seen. I think he shows great promise and is a real prospect.

However, as our midfield is not protecting our defence and other teams are going straight through us, I think we need to fit two destroyers in the middle. Boring Hollerway two banks of four, but this is what we need right now as we are in a relegation battle.

Cameron is past it so, that leaves Ball and possibly moving Dickie there as we did with Hall a few seasons ago. Means Masterson comes in at CB, until we get a loan in.

Its backs to the wall stuff now.

Thanks - wasnt' sure the type of player he was.

The Manning example is a good one, remember it well and worked out ok but agree an attacking ball playing midfielder in the number 10 mould isn't what the doctor ordered right now. That said, I think the kid is missing out on crucial development time at the moment. Had he been sent out on loan from the start it would have been so much better for both him and us so giving him some game time may not be the worst idea in the world. The coaching staff obviously rate him.

On Saturday we were cut through with ease, no bite, no pressure on the ball so we definitely need to address that and wondered if he may help us do so. Seems perhaps not but I wouldn't be against involving him a bit more, he needs to get some minutes under his belt.

Whether Bettache plays, who knows. Warburton has to grind out a result, even a nil draw. Trouble with Millwall is they are tall team, we lack height and if you remember in the 4-3 game at end of last season, we nearly got outdone on that, Warburton even admitted as such we lack big blokes, like the idea of Dickie in defensive midfield role, with Masterson in central defence. Ball needs to be in midfield as well. Get Kakay back in at right back. Go for a 4-5-1 formation. Midfield: Dickie,Ball, BOS, Chair and Carroll.
