Wallace might be back, but our best player probably won't be because the club has decided to impose the unwritten clause in a contract, which is we might have triggered a one year option, but our option for that year is not to play you during that extra season unless you commit even further to this clown show.
As always in the middle of such a run, I can't see any sign of recovery and we'll not score with this lot, so it's a case of how many for them (I'm going for 3). The usual bright start followed by an embarrassing first after 20 minutes then the traditional QPR collapse.
Cardiff fans not exactly raving about their side either.
A real test of ‘playing for the manager’. Head says 0-2 but maybe Adomah starts as well as he did Tuesday, one bounces in off Dykes, Masterson takes his chance, Cameron’s rest makes him more mobile than a pissed snail and we sneak a 1-2 defeat.

As I said to someone else last week if 13th = 16th, then 20th does as well surely?
Anyway, IF a national lockdown is imminent, all does seem a little irrelevant if we're stopping again next week.
Just for the hell of it I will watch as a) I've 'paid' and b) its going to be peeing down, I'll go for what seems, even to a 'happy clapper' - copyright LBlock - like me, an optimistic 1-0 win.

In answer to your thread title Davman, sitting here in the throes of storm Aiden (I thought we were at least at letter 'e' by now) there is not much else to be doing! I think similar to our 0-0 with Swansea last year, snapping a losing run, which gradually built up to a six match unbeaten run of our own prior to lockdown, we will get a scoring draw here. I say we will score simply based on the fact that we can't not score forever! Masterson will have a point to prove and will play well, Barbet, usually follows a crap performance with a decent one, and Wallace started well last week so hopefully can continue. Dykes (pen?) for us and just to rub a little salt into the wounds (because we are QPR), Moore for them. Paul, we are on full lockdown here for ten days now, but 'elite' sport continuing - would it not be the same there? Brian, are you getting blown away/flooded out down there?

In all fairness I dont think Lblock can't take the credit for Happy clapper it's been around on message boards for a very long time. ( For some reason it wanted to change clapper to slapper....!!!!!!!!
Anyway to more important things like today's team selection and I personally will be very p issed off with MW if he continues to not select BOS on a matter of principle. Whether he likes it or not and even wants to face up to the reality we have a weak Championship squad, just look at Millwalls striking options compared to ours. We are not in a position to stamp out feet and not pick our best striking option when we chose to extend his contract by 12 months.
Surely the chance to maintain our Championship status is far more important than a matter of principle, maybe if we were a wealthier club with a far stronger squad then the decision would be a lot easier. Everyone has a different opinion on this subject but we may be going to be in a relegation battle and for that reason we need every option available. If for whatever reason they decide Samuel can play then for me it's a no brainer on the selection front the front six should be Cameron,Ball, Adomah, Chair,Samuel and Dykes, with those six we might just score a goal and give the defence some much needed back up when Cardiff attack......

Not sure I have the heart to even follow this one on text let alone pay to watch it. All pretty depressing at the moment isn't it? Any reason for optimism? The only one I can think of is that all bad runs come to an end eventually.

Not going to bother. Think back to the atmosphere at LR when we played Cardiff. Today we will have canned applause at best. Tragic
Strong and stable my arse.

The first goal is crucial - I can't see us coming back if we go behind. They are also bound to want vengeance for last season's thrashing. Not very hopeful.

My biggest fear is that the giant that is Moore, who had several cups of tea and ate all the cake when we thought we were signing him will do us over today. Other than that, simply because this is QPR we may actually surprise ourselves and get something...

BOS is not our best player on the field and hasn't been since lockdown finished.
He only really took off(literally) against Brum in early December and hasn't been the same since March. Quite a narrow little window really, which seems to have 'slammed shut' since lockdown, as you say Davie

... or not
It will be interesting to see how Moore and Dykes match up.
For all the defensive howlers we need some goals to get our season going.

Who knows Myke?
Just read a 'story' in the Daily Telegraph online. The headline is 'Lockdown - what we know'
The actual article is full of 'could' , 'might' 'possibly' - no facts in it whatsoever - so once again - who knows?!

Not sure who is then as he seems to be the only one the opposition needs to worry about.
Think the op are more worried about his rep, because there is no doubt for those 4 months he was excellent - unplayable against Cardiff and frightened the bejaysus out of Leeds. But he hasn't done it consistently since - which is the mark of a top player

Whether he’s done it consistently since or not I believe he’s still the only player we’ve got who can present a major threat to opposing defences and for that reason we can ill afford to leave him out on a matter of highly debatable principle when we’re creating as few goalscoring opportunities as we have been this season.

we'll turn the tide today, because that's something warburton has shown himself capable of doing.
i hope.
Couldn't agree more. Thats one thing he has been able to do. Just when we think we're staring into the abyss he pulls them out of it. However a heavy defeat today could be something he can't come back from . We're in a rut at the moment but you always thought that in similar situations last season we had the quality to get out of the malaise. Not so sure this season . Jury's out. 2.1 Rangers!!

I tend to agree but if he's not in the side then play Willock from the start in that position. H looks like a very talented prospect and at least he has pace.

Well there is no argument that we need goals from somewhere. When he has being playing, he's been doubled up on, but you would think that should create more space for someone else to exploit. If we could just score early today, I think everyone would relax a bit. The longer we go without scoring, the more tense WE get, so presume it's the same for the players
