I'm sorry but this was little more than a pre-season run around. Totally lacking in intent from both teams. I read nothing at all from it.
I do worry though that when the season acctually starts, without the crowd and atmosphere, this is how football will be played out. We saw it in the Summer from the re-start it was poor and well, boring. I can't say Ive enjoyed any of it. Its better than nothing I guess but selling the sport and a product when its now played at this tempo and lacking any kind of atmosphere at all, is going to wear pretty thin quickly. |  | | |
