I don't really care if she actually has worked very hard for him. Politicians should be above reproach and employing family, especially close family is always open to criticism and is mostly perceived quite badly.
The rules need to be drawn up, need to be stricter and propely enforced. If we knew how many poiticians (across the board) were emplying family who in reality did nothing much for the money (and 35k is good money for a PA/researcher) I doubt we'd be surprised because we have become used to the greed our elected reps nearly always display.
The political swamp had grown massively whatwith devolution, the EU and the soon to be 800 who mostly steal a living in the HoL. No wonder there's less and less money for public services.
The Senedd wants to expand it's number by 30% too whuich will allegedly ONLY cost 12 million per year. How many nurses, teachers and police will we have to lose to pay for that? | |
