Boro 17:37 - Jul 4 with 20916 viewsbosh67

Although we haven't won there since the last plague we kind of absolutely need to win there tomorrow to put to bed any fears of being dragged into the relegation problems. Win and we should be fine. Lose there and it really does start to get itchy. Plus we would have to honour of them I think being the only team after lockdown not to gain any points. I wouldn't put it another defeat beyond us but a win tomorrow will at least take the stress out the team and us fans.

Never knowingly right.

Strange we haven't scored from all these shots we've been peppering the goal with second half.

Fortunately they’ve been just as wasteful!

Struggling to remember a less eventful half of football. But that’ll do for me.

3 fouls in additional time tends to take the momentum out of a game. Smart stuff Rs.

Woohoo! That was a long time coming. I am now content that we are pretty much safe.... I know we were safe before, mostly, but now I believe it.

Well that was a poor game, decent battling performance. Boro will do well to stay up, Kakay MOTM.

Great result. Kakay was immense as were the whole defence. Special mention to Joe Lumley-back to his best.

Great win. I was tempted to put a bet on Middlesbrough beforehand, as I thought that would guarantee us a point. But we won, and I kept my cash

LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY.

Really satisfying result that. They were shocking, but we did a good job in difficult circumstances.

Peach of a goal (very Rangers that poor old Hugill would knacker himself in the process of scoring it.) Massive respect to Lumley for stepping back in so impressively. That Ossie Kakay run to the corner flag at the end was a thing of beauty. BOS and Manning fully on board as well.

LOVELY.

Only caught the last 20 but thought Bright looked bright, Kakay looked assured, and Lumley came out to catch a ball that he would have dropped 6 months ago.

Hopefully this can put some panicking to bed for a while!

Yesssss! Really good performance against an admittedly poor Borough (think they're doomed unless Wigan save them!). Back to the kind of form we were showing before the break - more confident on the ball, solid in defence. Shout outs to Kakay (my MoM), Bright, Manning and a much improved Kane.

Interestingly even if we'd played like that and beaten Barnsley, Charlton and nicked a point against Fulham we'd still be 4 points off the play-offs. 13th now - would be nice to finish above Bristol City and in the top half.

First clean sheet in seven games, too, a good day's work for Lumley.
