First ever game you attended. on 18:07 - Apr 28 with 1461 views | BucksRanger | At some point in life all things fade. I remember going to see QPR play Newport County with my Dad when I was around 9 or 10 years old. I thought the game ended 4-3 to the R's. Anyway, I had to go search for when that could have taken place. It rather looks as though I remembered the score incorrectly because the closest game for that period of my life was: 07 Mar 1959 Queens Park Rangers v Newport County W 4-2 League Division Three So, I'm going with that game as being my first down Loftus Road.

First home game: 4-0 v Rotherham 1983 promotion season, I was 12 years old. First away game: pre-season friendly at Goldstone Ground, Brighton. I think it was a 2-2 draw. Last home game: the 1-0 loss against Bristol City when Nakhi Wells made his debut for them. Last away game: that win against Preston, what a way to finish the season!!

Bonus:- First ever football game:- Rushden & Diamonds 3 Purfleet 1 - October 1995ish - FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round replay. Rushden had ex-QPR trainee Graham Benstead in goal. I also saw Northampton Town play before QPR but I can't remember who they played but I think I remember them winning late on. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

pre season friendly at the goldstone, 1977.....think we lost 2-1. about 10 of us left in a little old van fron the golden gloves, Fulham palace road for that one. we was in their pub before the game, about 20 of us, all having a good game of cards, no trouble. during the game, stood on the half way line next to the home end, little bit of trouble. After the game, few skirmishes until the ob turned up, could have been nasty.....still, those were the 70's.

First ever game you attended. on 22:39 - Apr 29 with 1140 views | Rassilon | First home game (I think): Ipswich 21/2/76 won 3-1 Most recent: Birmingham 2-2 29/2/20 I rarely do away games. I went to a pre-season friendly at Brentford, late nineties, we had an Italian on trial, who got carried off on a stretcher and I think we lost, 2-1 maybe? First League match, would also be Brentford 0-0. 24/11/2001 Most recent: Plymouth 0-2 24/4/2004 (promotion season) which isn’t exactly recent. [Post edited 29 Apr 2020 22:50]
