I once had the dubious 'distinction' of being interviewed by Terry Cinzano. It was for the Matchday Programme v Leicester in October 2009 as part of his '50 Successive Years in Hoops' articles. It coincided with my own, then, 50 years as a supporter - which will become 60 years v Brentford on the 28th October. Talk about coming full circle, QPR v Brentford on 31st October 1959 was my first match (we lost 4-2 by the way) but two goals from Brian Bedford and I was hooked. Many memories and many ups and downs since then of course and I suppose it's taught me that in life, it's best to expect the cloud as opposed to the silver lining - then you don't get too disappointed when it all goes tits up! |  |
