Not been on here for a while but felt compelled to add my thoughts on this thread ;
Mixed emotions for me here .......an amazing experience to be there for our first ever Wembley appearance and the win in 1994 but contrasting this with the fact that it was my ‘Stag Do’ weekend exactly one week before I got married to somebody who ultimately proved to be the biggest lying, cheating, materialistic gold digger who ever walked this earth !!
Five years on I am SO glad to say that I am now well rid of that abhorrent individual and have since met THE most amazing, loving, loyal and compatible ‘soul mate’ I could ever have wished to meet.
Back to our ‘Wembley’ football, I missed the Northampton game as I was away in Spain on holiday but the Reading game in 2011 will live long with me to the day I die not least for the fact that my son captained the Swansea City team which played on that same Wembley pitch in the Schools Cup Final just an hour before ‘THAT’ historic game started 😉ðŸ‘😂
What an incredible day that was .....yet never to be repeated I fear but who knows eh ? 🤞🤞
