I had the pleasure of watching brentfords 4-1 defeat at swansea on sunday.
I hate to put the mockers on it but we couldn’t really pick a better time to play them. They've got a big injury crisis and were playing a few players out of position, (Cano’s was playing left back).
They seem pretty fragile confidence wise, had a straight red shown to one of their defenders (the swansea number 20 gave them a torrid time in the 2nd half). Their shooting was pretty woeful too.
Having said all that they do still try and play football out of the back and do not stray from this approach even if it’s all going a bit pear shaped.

I'm only saying what I saw on Sunday! No idea how you've played in other games? I was in the Brentford end so I even got the brentford perspecive on the game.
I think trying to play out of the back all of the time is really admirable. Brentford played some nice football but were totally overrun in the 2nd half.
Why is Canos playing as a left back? and is your shooting always that bad (nearly every shot at goal was mis-hit and weak)?

Canos is playing wing back due to injuries to Henry and Dalsgaard and it worked well mid week against Villa and in the first half against Swansea.Cant argue that we overplay at times but when it comes off it’s good to watch.We have a bit of a soft underbelly and even under Dean Smith we are liable to concede 2 or 3 goals in 10 minutes or less as you have witnessed against us in the last 2 games at LR against you.Thomas Frank changed our system after a run of 1 win in 12 when he took over which up until second half Sunday worked well.
