We just have no options when we have the ball. Again, like Preston, we just have no answer to a team that defends deep in good shape, especially when 442. We have nobody playing between the lines or making angles. Only chance is set pieces and with freeman we’re excellent at those.

Adams first goal was excellent striking. Second taken with great composure. He’s absolutely bullied us. It became embarrassing after that. We offered nothing and defended like statues.

The goal is actually a problem in a perverse way. We need to change shape but can’t do that with smith on the pitch. But maclaren will get slaughtered if he takes his goal scorer off now.

With that in mind, Personally I’d go 433. Wells and bright either side between fullback and centreback, bring freeman into the middle, and have Luongo playat the base of the 3 rather than scowen. Josh has legs but awful long passing.

At the game. Absolutely shocking just like the game against Preston, we have been bullied out of it. Second to everything; Lumley having brain farts and can't kick. Playing Hall when Brum's solid lumps up front are as physical as they come.

We cannot keep the ball, we are standing off them admiring their football rather than getting stuck in.

This is as bad as it has been over the last few years and why I am sitting here safe in the knowledge that it could still get worse I do not know.

Thoroughly depressing and this league form is starting to look more than a mere wobble.

Fair play for staying. I left after the 4th and gone to the pub.

Hope I look foolish at full time but wouldn’t bet on it.

Hope you do too, mate, but I think your decision will prove to be the wise one.

Can we go out yet?

Fcukarama, I've just returned from my debut Aldi shopping experience in Camberley, 67p for 12 'Wacko' bars, I was clearly in heaven and didn't realise it at the time compared to arriving back to Chez SF and looking at the scoreline. West Ham are 1-0 up too so the Mrs is happy, Aldershot 0-1 down, just absolute sh1te day all round for football so far. Good grief..........I'm off to the garage to retrieve some San M in advance of full time.

Last saturday at 3pm I was being given a general anaesthetic for a sinus op.

I'm really missing that anaesthetic now.

Sounded like a decent response from the crowd to 2-4. Another goal would make things pretty interesting.

We have to keep getting the ball onto Smith's head, it's not rocket science.

Once again, McClaren not afraid to change things. 3-5-2 has us back in possession and back in the game.

That's good but the thing is Leistner should have started the game against a physical front two. Lynch now off for Pav.
