Gotta say that when keeping my hopes down at about 70 mins I thought: - Decent effort and shape - Players rested, (rightly IMO) and injuries etc coped with - Hall came through OK - Oteh scored - Lively play from BOS - Terrible error from Ingrams but he recovered well and made some decent saves - hope that is a bit of a corner turned for him
Even if we'd been on the wrong side of the 2-1 I wouldn't have had any criticism of Schteve or the team.

To be fair there were a lot of fresh faced kids playing for Leeds but they still had that aggressive wan**r No 10 who really should have been off had the ref not been so lenient .He only booked him after another dirty tackle then he abused him to boot. Delighted to see us win and now we can look forward to the draw and get Man City hopefully
Well we beat The Master Bielsa so The Pupil Guardiola would be a doddle!

We look like a proper team. And Hall played 94 minutes - and looked good, I thought. Was impressed by oteh and BOS. Why McLaren keeps refusing good opportunities to bring them on I don't understand. Thought they both looked good enough to play a bigger part. Great game. And a well deserved win.

Agree with all that - good, entertaining game which gave a few fringe players some game time. Only real worry is Ingram who looks a bit shaky.

We managed to win (and looked very decent doing it) with 8 of our first choice XI rested, benched or unavailable.
That number was the same as for Leeds in fact, so would be irrelevant to argue it was a weakened Leeds team.

Thanks for your running commentaries Brian. You're a man of epic proportions.
Not sure whether that's just being rude about Brian's size or if you know him quite intimately......... anyway, I liked it before thinking too deeply about it.
Thanks Brian, as always......... although I watched it today so you can keep your epic proportions to yourself!

Well, everyone put on a pound or two over Christmas!

Special mention for Ingram. Given a chance in the first team and makes a pigs ear of it for their goal but but was excellent for the rest of the game. MOTM for courage and determination.
Strong and stable my arse.

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles
