Just seen the two minutes,eight seconds of highlights on Youtube. Two things;how can a seasoned pro like Rafferty,who I agree is a good player otherwise,can blaze two glorious chances into orbit when a bit of composure would,ve had the ball in the net;and the goal Williams scored was a belter,right foot across the keeper. The point being,Hendo,who was the first to congratulate the boy,called on the rest of the team to do likewise. Clearly Williams has confidence problems,Hilly is backing him now,so similar to Bunney,he needs the fans to get behind him. There`s a top player in there,but he needs time,a bit like there was with David Cross and look what happened to him. | | | |

I think we do have the basis of a decent squad and, when things are kept simple by the manager, we can get results like the one on Saturday. The league is tight enough that a half decent run could see us comfortably in the top half.
It’s no secret that the squad is a bit bloated and needs some trimming, and work is clearly under way to make that happen. Perhaps, just perhaps, we could still produce a second half of a season that gets all supporters smiling again. |  |

I do agree that more compsure required in front of goal.
